In the winter there are good opportunities for all skiing and snowmobile activities with slopes nearby. Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island with no mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

Welcome to Sørstraumen View which is near E6 but still secluded. The cabin is close to the sea, with lovely views in all directions, including to Storstraumen, which is a very good fishing area. The area around the cabin is open and a good starting point for walking, hunting and fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin with parking. A small grocery store is also available nearby, where you can buy most of what you need. The cabin is cozy, with three small bedrooms and sleeps 5.

Charge the batteries at this peaceful and family-friendly place. Wonderful location close to spectacular mountains and outdoor areas; sea and mountains, hikes, fishing lakes, hunting grounds, skiing, and snowmobile trails. Veranda with a fire pit, dining area and spa. Playhouse with a slide for the children, sled mat, and steering sled. Snow blower and lawnmower available when needed. In the outhouse, you'll find firewood. The cabin has running water, electricity and fiber optic internet.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)
