House vacation rentals in Altavilla Irpina

Monica’s place in Sorrento was a great location. Beautiful views from the piazza, great restaurants and shopping close by, beaches and marina were a short walk away. Monica’s partnership with the hotel was convenient for check-in. She handled our transportation reservation from the train station and to our next destination. If we were to come back to stay in Sorrento we would definitely have Monica’s place on the short list!

Maria's condo in Positano is exactly as described and pictured. Our group of 4 spent two nights and all said how much we would love to live there indefinitely. It's quite the hike down and back from the beach (but pretty much every Airbnb or hotel accommodation is). The only reason for 4 stars is that Maria was still cleaning the unit when we arrived at 3pm check in until 430-- for which she was incredibly apologetic. We were grateful the property is so well taken care of. Definitely don't forget to bring a swim cap down to the pool with you-- they won't let you get in the water without one! (Even if you have your hair up and don't plan to go under).

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Adriana and her husband Gianfranco went out of their way to make our stay the best ever, they are an amazing couple and their attention to detail is second to none! The pool and garden is totallyprivate and idyllic overlooking the beautiful mountain range including the iconic Mount Vesuvius. Our holiday was concluded with a trip along the Alamfi Coast, Sorrento and the beautiful Isle of Capri onboard Gianfranco's private luxury boat where we were treated like VIPs drinking ice cold Prosecco, beer and a beautiful lunch (this trip is a MUST for everyone staying at this Airbnb) Do not miss out on a lifetime trip! A world class view, we enjoyed being out of the towns and next to a wonderful local restaurant. The Casa felt like a much loved home rather than a commercial rental. The drive up has been mentioned before. It is very steep and passing cars coming the other way was initially challenging but we gained in confidence quickly. Our Fiat Panda did the job but a small 4x4 would have been ideal.

This place was perfection! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and a tour of this incredible place. The pool and outdoor spaces plus the balcony with its incredible views were a huge hit! The family and their dog are so lovely and we couldn't say a single bad word about our stay here. Great location, big and spacious rooms, plenty of outdoor space and the pool was so good! If you are staying in or around Praiano then I wouldn't look anywhere else. It is even more stunning in real life. We can't wait to come back!

If you are looking for a post card view of Positano and the coastline, this is the place to stay. The property was beautiful and the pool was an added bonus. Air conditioning worked fine for us. Domenico was kind enough to help meet us and assist with our luggage. He even reserved a taxi for our Capri tour and recommend the La Strada restaurant. The food, service and close proximity were all great. One note to keep in mind is the number of steps to get to the property. It can be a bit of challenge for some. Otherwise, we had a memorable stay.

This is our second stay at Michele’s place. I highly recommend Michele’s place! Michele is an excellent host. Michele quickly responds to messages and is always helpful. The home and location is beautiful and peaceful. The home is stocked with olive oil, seasonings, bottles of water and other essential cooking supplies, lots of towels and a washer for our clothing. We will keep coming back!

We spent a relaxing few nights in this lovely Airbnb, its fairly high up the hill but you can catch the bus from the centre of Positano for a few euros which drops you just outside of the apartment opposite the. We loved sitting on the balcony with some snacks and a bottle or two of wine watching the sunset and looking at the amazing views. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean. We were checked in by Angelo who couldn’t have been more helpful and gave us some great tips for restaurants and what was in the local area and the easiest way down to the centre of Positano. We booked porter service to bring our luggage up to the apartment but we walked back down to the port on leaving along the road which is downhill all the way and very easy to navigate with cases and it took it around 15 to 20 mins at a gentle pace. A fab place to stay.

Our stay was perfect. Everything you could ask for and more. Roberto went out of his way to advise and assist. Highly recommend staying he Nonno’s pizza is very close and a must if you stay here

Where to begin with this incredible town and home. Roses dream house is a dream. The sea view and private patio are perfect for your quiet mornings and evenings. It would be a great sun patio too during the day. It was very private. This place had the basic amenities you need. It was clean and super safe! There were no steps to get to this adorable abode, that is not an easy thing to find and was so much appreciated. The host was incredible. So responsive to any question we had. Offered food suggestions, made dinner reservations, gave us boat schedules and more. Inside there is the bus schedule as well. We loved taking the water taxis to Amalfi and Positano instead of a crowded bus. Must eat something light and have drinks at Miragalli, the owner Mario is a gem. Also check out Ciali Bistrot & Kasai was our other favorite restaurant. This place was quiet and we love Praiano away from crowds of the other 2 main towns. We felt like locals. You will not be disappointed!

What a beautiful ideal spot between positano and amalfi - just 10-15 min from each with an ocean view. We wanted to stay in praiano because others online had recommended it as quiet and conveniently located. We were delighted that we made this our home base for 6 days while easily visiting so many sites and towns nearby. There’s just enough to do in praiano that it didn’t feel isolated. It felt like a respite from the busy touristy spots. The apartment , villa , cottage (not sure what to call it) was the perfect size for us. Adele gave us thorough instructions for the house , the neighborhood , transportation and recommendations. She was quick to respond and went the extra mile to reserve some private cars and porters to help us. There’s even a washer for clothes, A/C, a full fridge and a dishwasher for dishes. Kasai and Il Pino were our favorite restaurants walking distance. A dip in the sea was an unexpected highlight also💦 (lots of stairs. ) I highly recommend this unit.

Our stay was a amazing. Every time we had questions about anything the host answered promptly. They also gave us many recommendations for food and how to get around the city. Would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.

The unit offers breathtaking panoramic views. Simona & Alessio are great! We drove in from Rome and they saved a car space for us and helped us with our luggage. They are great communicators. Provided all the extras to make the stay comfortable. They provided Champaign on check in, vegetable's at our door and a cute bottle of lemon cello upon our last day. BE AWARE: In the description it says 200 steps. If you are from the US and other areas its better described as stairs, not steps. The stairs are 200 to the bus stop and another 50 to the two restaurants. And then a steep 200 or 250 back up to the unit. I would say on a given day we did between 1000 and 1500 stairs to and from the unit. I only put this in because there is a difference in steps and stairs and if you have knee or physical issues this may not be the unit for you.

Mirna is a true gem. Saying that she is the perfect host doesn’t do it justice - in the weeks leading up to my stay, she checked in regularly to make sure that I was able to book activities (as things get booked up in the Sorrento Coast). She arranged for me to have groceries delivered since I wasn’t renting a car nor scooter. She provided so much information that guided all of my activities, and even when I needed to make additional plans, she placed those calls for me to ensure that I could get reservations. Her kindness was so appreciated. Her home is very clean and her housekeeper was so helpful, even helping me to carry my luggage up the small hill to the main road. Mirna provided coffee, the kitchen utensils that I needed to make my own meals, and I didn’t need anything more. The VIEW is as spectacular as Mirna is…rent her home, you will regret not doing so…in addition to renting a car or scooter (otherwise, she has the name of a fantastic driver)!

My friends and I had the most amazing stay, thanks to our incredible host! From the moment we arrived, he was extremely sweet and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He set up rides for us and was always quick to respond to any questions we had, making communication a breeze. The Airbnb itself was absolutely stunning — the pictures truly don’t do it justice. It’s like something out of a dream! Every corner of the space had a special charm that made our stay feel magical and unforgettable. One of the highlights of our trip was the morning we were checking out. Our host stopped by and made us all delicious cappuccinos, and we sat together in the kitchen chatting like old friends. It was such a warm and personal touch that really made our stay memorable. The hospitality and the beautiful atmosphere were truly unmatched, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Best location and best patio in positano!

We had a wonderful stay as a family in this spacious 2-story Amalfi home. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the center square and beach. So close to everything we needed, yet still quiet enough to relax. The apartment itself was much larger than we expected, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive throughout our stay. They made everything easy, from the smooth check-in process to the thoughtful video they shared to guide us right to the door. Every request or question we had was answered quickly and with care. It’s a place that helped make our family trip to Amalfi even more memorable. Highly recommend!

Words cannot describe this home. It was such a beautiful space and great escape from everything. Definitely the nicest place we have ever stayed. Sara was so helpful from the start with everything from dinner reservations to bus tickets. Whatever we needed, she helped through everything. The home was beautiful in every way from start to finish!

Your house is wonderful and we enjoyed stayning in in for a few days ,even of the steps to get there where a lot at first 😀 then we got used to it and we even enjoned discowering new ways to get to the location (home). FABULOUS and special villa, even more beautiful than in photos. Designed with attention to every detail, with artistic touches throughout. We enjoyed the location, higher up with incredible views and away from the more crowded tourist areas. Our experience in this area felt much more authentic to our experience of Positano years ago before tourism became so heavy. Yet accessible by bus, taxi and on foot via stairs from lower Positano. Market and fantastic restaurants nearby. Roberta was absolutely the best host we’ve ever had. Thoughtful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. She attended to every detail with amazing recommendations and arrangements, from the porter service for our luggage, resources in the neighborhood, last minute dinner reservations, taxi service, an incredible Pompeii tour with a private guide, and much, much more. It’s clear from conversations we had with Positano residents that Roberta is beloved in the community as well. HIGHLY recommend!!

Martina’s place was amazing! Definitely bigger than in pictures, and the view was awesome! This was the best hospitality. Martina and her dad brought us a bottle of their amazing wine ❤️ they were so kind. Thank you for an amazing stay 😃
