Here there is good opportunity for hunting, fishing and mountain hiking just nearby. The area has many hiking trails of different levels of difficulty and length. In the winter there are good opportunities for all skiing and snowmobile activities with slopes nearby. Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island with no mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

The property is entirely for themselves by the sea. 40 minutes from Alta. Great hiking opportunities all year long. House refurbished in 2024 with a new kitchen and plenty of beds. Private outdoor room on the second floor where you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sea and mountains. If you're lucky, both orcas and whales show up right outside. (November - January) NB! In winter you have to go skiing or snowshoeing about 1 km. Host can assist with transportation by snow scooter for an additional price.

In summer, we recommend collecting river stones, chatting with locals, and checking out nearby archaeological sites. In winter, Sarves ski hill is only five minutes away and our local waterfalls are frozen-spectacular. Whatever season, it’s nice to relax with a coffee in a well-appointed home. The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)
