Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alta

Really nice experience. Cabin is actually a lot nicer than it appears on the pictures. Everything clean and cosy. Not a single thing we have missed during our stay. Super nice and friendly hosts Absolutely recommend this place!

Turelv Gaard is a a fantastic and welcoming place to stay in a stunning location. We had a grest time as a family of 4 with lots of space. The sauna was a great highlight along with a refreshing dip in the stream. We were fortunate to see the northern lights and also enjoyed some skiing on the local slopes. The house is really well equipped and set out with everything you could need.

Even better than all the pictures!! Absolutely gorgeous, clean and very peaceful. If you thinking of booking, this is the one! Venti is very good at responding and being helpful. He even warned us of bad weather conditions coming. I’d stay here again in a heart beat!

The apartment is very nice spacious, and is in a very quiet residential area. The absolute highlight is the great panoramic nest with a perfect view of the Altafjord. And in fact, we also saw northern ones from there. It was also very pleasant that we were allowed to use the garage because it snowed almost daily and saved us so much work. It was a very relaxing and relaxing holiday! Thank you Veronika!

Great place to stay! Maja was quick to respond and helped facilitate our arrival. Guests had everything they might need for their stay and only had positive things to say about the space. Recommended to others who will be visiting and we would like to come back in the future.

Vebjørn and his place really saves us when bad weather stopped our travel further north. Vebjørn responded quickly and made sure the house was ready for us on very short notice. Although our short, one-night stay limited the possibility to explore the premises and the surroundings, everything looked very good. We arrived and left by taxi, so we have no experience with other means of transport to and from the house.

Martin was a great host: super accurate for all the necessary directions. The house is super beautiful and spacious!

Fantastic house in a stunning location! We had such a lovely holiday and didn't want to leave! We didn't have a car but that was no problem as the bus is very reliable (only one a day, to and from Alta). The house was spacious, with several different places to sit. The view is incredible. The hot tub and sauna were a great addition. We saw the northern lights on three nights during our stay and were able to relax in the hot tub and watch them from there. The kitchen has everything you could need and more. Sonja and Steinar were excellent hosts. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay, so central to everything, easy parking, easy access. Essentials supplied to get by in the room like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, coffee machine with coffee and also very clean.

The kitchen was well-equipped, with enough dishes and silverware. Tidy apartment and peaceful to be right in the center. Nice little shopping center right next door. plenty of parking spaces, paid between 10am and 8pm.

Rented here during a stay last year, when we were going back this year, we searched for this place and found it available this year as well. Here is everything in order, clean and tidy, nice host and everything you need in the apartment. Will be back the next time I need an extended stay in Alta.

Ole was a great host - very friendly and helpful and made us feel comfortable in his apartment. Gave good tips on where to go for a walk in the weather conditions and which were the best restaurants in town. Apartment is well equipped and in a really handy location just a short walk to town and to the Scandic Hotel which activity companies use as a pick up point. Sauna was lovely bonus!

The apartment was very nice, as shown in the pictures. The only drawback was that we noticed that there were road closures. We asked the host about it and she never sent us a solution. When everything goes well on a trip, I understand that the place is ideal, but if you have any problems, the closest person you have as a tourist is the host, and in this case we had no help, not even a response.

Great place to use as a base to explore the area. Beds were particularly comfortable. Great host. Thanks so much.
