This is truly a fantastic place. It is an old totally renovated fishery. The size is 180 square meters, and the pier is 200 squares. The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. We want everyone to experience nature as closely as possible. Therefore, we have built three small cabins/ houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea , the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.

Hytta har spesielt god utsikt mot Lofotveggen, Vestfjorden, Bøsanden, fjellet Mjeldberget og Bøbygda. Engeløya er en perle i den nordlanske kystnatur. Et levende kulturlandskap. Hytta ligger i et av de beste landbruksområdene i Nord-Norge. Veiene og stiene og naturen i fjellene og langs kysten og i bygda her egner seg godt til fine turer. På sykkel og til fots. Eller kajakk. Her er godt grunnlag for naturopplevelser, friluftsliv og avslapping. Velkommen til en fin ferie.

Back to the old days. Nostalgic and peaceful small cottage with simple standard. Living room with kitchenette + extra living room in attached room with a view 1 bedroom on the 2nd floor with low ceilings. The dishes are done in the "old way" in a tub, and water must be collected from the bathroom. Not wifi or TV. Find peace and enjoy the view. Nice hiking areas, beach and fire pits nearby. Guests do their own laundry, fees apply on the premises if it is not cleaned.

Beautiful place in the countryside in total silence. Horses outside the windows and beautiful views. A good starting point for experiencing Steigen. Sunniva was very helpful and drove me to Skånland to walk the Queen's route. I'd love to come back.

We were greeted by a very pleasant host when we arrived at Kvithuset at Kvalnes. We entered a delicate and cozy house in an amazing setting and felt very welcomed, which the dialogue at the forefront also facilitated. Everything we needed was thought out and the stay was optimal in every way. We are very happy to come again and recommend both the hosting and the house without any inconvenience.

Beautiful Skrova, something completely unique. Fantastic annex to stay in, has everything you need for a good stay. Clean, tidy, good decor, quiet and great views. Recommended, I would like to stay here again.

i, for the first time not alone, travelled to norway with my partner. we have arrived a day late because we took the wrong ferry from bodø. after an one hour walk we found ourself in the beautiful nes in hamarøy. we got provided with food for the first days and throughout our every day's breakfast. the place has everything that got listed and even more. there's a lot do discover and a lot of love in every detail. the view is breathtaking and the hot pot is an experience we didn't missed. even without a car we got bikes and we walked a lot. the tides can be seen and experienced daily almost twice, there's a 24/7 grocery store at skutvik and a lot of peace. we saw animals in their wilderness and learned the sound ouf 'the quiet'. whenever we needed something, john-karstein was here for help immediately. we felt home at every second and in good hands. we usually sleep on hard mattress, the bed was very soft but there are bunk beds with hard ones. 10 out of 10, great place and great host!
