Vacation rentals in Alpena Township

Our third year in a row staying here and like always everything was perfect. Matthew is a great host, very responsive and always helpful. The property is perfect, always clean and clear instructions on check out. Has everything a family would need. This will always be our go to BNB when visiting Alpena. Great people and comfortable house. Very accommodating.

Cheryl's place was an awesome stay at the weekend of our kids being on spring break. TOA city is a cool Little River Town on lake huron. restaurants convenience stores grocery stores are all really close by. the house is very spacious plenty of things to do at the house with shuffleboard foosball and outdoor activities. wish the pool was open but we came during the wrong season of time.

The Lake House was absolutely perfect for our busy family of five (kids ages 14, 11, and 8) plus our golden doodle! We even extended our trip one more day because we didn’t want to leave! The house had plenty of space and everything we needed and more. The property was beautiful and secluded. We spent our time drinking our coffee on the wooden swing watching the sun rise, swimming in the lake, catching frogs and crayfish, and cooking over the campfire at night. The lake is pretty shallow off the dock, so we weren’t able to fish there but we rented a boat from Dodge Marine (highly recommend) and spent a lot of time exploring the rest of Long Lake and fishing. We caught perch, the biggest blue gill I have ever seen, small mouth bass, and pike. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing your home and being a part of creating wonderful memories. It was seriously the best way to close out our summer!

Staying at Two Trees was the perfect fall weekend getaway for my husband, pup and I! The location was perfect to explore the Huron manistee National forest and do some hiking at the Lumberman’s memorial. We also went up to Alpena to try the breweries and the winery. We really enjoyed the Alcona brew haus in harrisville as well - they catered to my husbands allergies and had many vegetarian options for me! Their Oktoberfest was my favorite beer I tried. Our favorite part of the trip was staying at the cabin though - the beach access was amazing and we loved relaxing by the water or walking and rock hunting. The queen bed was also very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could think of. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking to spend some time in the area, at the beach, or in the National forest!

This home is a little slice of heaven. The view of the creek and all the trees is just what we needed for a change of scenery in March. The 4 seasons room with all the windows was the best place to hang out and had the most comfortable couch. The openness of the entire house helped us feel like we were all together all of the time. Being able to bring our dog was also a bonus. There's a door right on the deck with steps to the yard for the dog. She had a blast exploring the property! I would have thought that a place that allowed dogs would have had a dog smell, but it didn't at all. You'd never know that other dogs had stayed there. It snowed about 3 inches while we were there, and a snow shovel was left on the porch for us, which we did use. Anything and everything that you could possibly need was provided. I brought a few kitchen things I needed (like a hand mixer and kitchen brush for food), only to find that they had those items there! They literally provided everything!

I had a wonderful time here! So peaceful and private, great outdoor space, and the home was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated! I felt right at home and was able to be comfortable quickly! Rachel was quick to respond, provided recommendations, and the pricing was perfect! Highly recommend for a family getaway, couples retreat, or even a solo mom trip (like myself)! Absolutely a beautiful cabin, there is access to a lot of golf courses and restaurants that are a short drive away. As others have mentioned there is everything that you need at the cabin.
