Casa Antiga: holiday home for 2 adults (18+) on the ground floor of small-scale accommodation Quinta Maragota. Originally this part of the farmhouse was the family living area and still features beautiful authentic Portuguese tile floors, renovated wooden shutters and ceiling ornament in the hallway. Now it is an attractive, comfortable holiday home with private terrace, adjacent to a large communal mediterranean garden with pool, 4km to fishing village Fuseta, beach and lagoons of Ria Formosa.

Please note that this is not a banal rental but a fabulous family property with plenty of character. We ask you to treat it with due respect as we put a lot of work and heart to it. This house is on a very big property with a huge garden spreading in front of it. It is a beautiful and colorful piece of art. The swimming pool is shared. With 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a huge open-space kitchen and a large sunny terrace it is ideal for beach or hiking holidays in the eastern Algarve. It's central heating in every room makes Monte do Cansado a cozy retreat after long hikes or bike tours on cooler winter days. The big swimming pool with a magnificent view of the valley is shared with the guests of Casa do Pátio and the owners.

The house is in the town of Rompido, 600 meters from the PLAZA de las SIRENAS, very close to the school in the PUNTA CORAL area. You can walk down to the town or park in one of the two car parks that are located in the town. The town center becomes pedestrianized in summer. From the house you can make routes by bicycle or on foot because El Rompido is in a natural setting.
