Monthly Rentals in Alishan Township

Place isn't the most convenient as there's not much around and you need to take the bus to get to places. Even for meals, the nearest place was a 20 minute walk away, and it is through the road as there are no walking paths. At night, there won't even be streetlights on at certain areas of the road. We stayed here mainly because it was relatively closer to Alishan and that was where we wanted to explore, but it'll still take about an hour to go, though a direct bus. Hosts were a really nice and friendly couple who gave recommendations and also helped fetch to and fro the nearby area to get dinner. The hosts also operate a tea shop below the room, engaged us in chat and really made us feel welcomed. They let us try different sorts of their tea which tasted really good. There's no pressure to buy them, but I bought some back for my colleagues and my colleagues like them as well. Consider this place if you want a more local experience and want to try the local tea.

A true hidden gem in Alishan, nestled beside a quaint railway station. The accommodation is well-designed, cozy, and solo-traveller friendly, with a beautiful forest view and modern touches like a heated bathroom and smart tv. The host, Nick, is incredibly warm and welcoming, both breakfast and dinner were thoughtfully prepared and delicious. I especially loved the freshly brewed coffee. On a cold and misty day in Alishan, staying here felt especially comforting and healing. It’s a place that warms both the body and the soul.

We had an amazing time staying at David's House! It was beautiful and extremely peaceful. It was near trails and Mama and Papa Chen are some of the nicest and warmest hosts that we've met. We enjoyed the tea time and the conversations, as well as the amazing breakfasts. I couldn't recommend this place more! If you are looking for a nice place to relax and unwind, please definitely consider David's House. :)

What a lovely place! It was so peaceful. The building sits in a beautiful garden with a terrace offering great mountain views. The vibe in the reception and dining area is very relaxing and welcoming, with a light incense scent. Even though the staff speaks little English, communication was fine. Our Japanese-style room was small but perfect, with a strong shower and nice shampoo provided. Breakfast was also tasty. This Airbnb is close to beautiful hiking trails through tea fields and bamboo forests. There are restaurants nearby, and the most famous Alishan trails are a 45-minute drive away. A perfect spot if you want to enjoy Alishan at a slower, more peaceful pace.
