Family-friendly vacation rentals in Alikanas

We were very satisfied with everything. Olga is an absolutely great hostess. The place was great! It was large and in a very quiet location. We had a very nice vacation. Everything was as described. And above all, the hospitality was really great and all our concerns and wishes were fulfilled. Olga and her family are very friendly and accommodating! We would visit this property again any time!!!

I’ve been renting on Airbnb for about a decade now, and this is one of the greatest places I’ve ever stayed yet. It’s such a good value for the privacy, beautiful furnishings, and amazing backyard with that view. Spyridoula is impeccable at her job without ever seeming overbearing. She had the most thoughtful gifts for us and was able to answer any questions or tackle our requests easily. We loved the massages she arranged for us so much that we asked her to schedule another round, which she was able to accommodate no problem. While it was just two of us, this place can easily fit 8 comfortably. Waking up each morning in the room with the panoramic windows was magical. The housekeeping and grounds staff were discreet and did their work flawlessly. Every taverna we tried nearby was delicious (highly recommend Dopia’s for homestyle food and Da Camillo for pizza). This villa with such a high level of service and comfort was the highlight of our honeymoon- thank you again!

We had a really enjoyable stay at this villa. The host was exceptionally kind and thoughtful, welcoming us with water and other small touches that immediately made us feel at home. During our stay, he was always available, intervening promptly when it was necessary to call an electrician for a small external problem and even bringing us a coffee maker to make our mornings even more pleasant. The house is very welcoming and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the time in tranquility. If I have to find a small flaw, some details may benefit from some extra maintenance, but overall everything was at the top. Also, the host allowed us to check out in the afternoon, which was a big plus and allowed us to fully enjoy the last hours of vacation. In short, it was a really positive experience and I highly recommend this villa

We had a great time: very large apartment, comfortable, clean and equipped with everything. You can enjoy a beautiful sea view from the windows. Quiet area and close to Alykes beach. From there, we moved easily to visit the whole island. Dimitris was really always extremely helpful and attentive to our needs, her mom made us try some typical sweets made by her for us and really great. We recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good in Zakynthos and enjoy the holiday!

Denia was an excellent host -- super responsive, the place was amazing and had everything we needed. We had a great week there, would definitely stay there again.

Villa Calma was an amazing place for our 3 families to stay. It has amazing outdoor space, a beautiful pool; and swimming in the ocean just down the rocks. Sea there was amazing for snorkelling. Short walk to a small beach and 2 great restaurants. We loved the quiet location. Angela is an amazing host. 6 bedrooms were perfect for us. Kitchen is stocked ok, but would be useful to have some more utensils. Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.

This accommodation is recommended if you want to be privately close to the beach and explore the nightlife in the nearest Laganas Road (hotspot especially for young people to party). Ideal for four people, although there is only one bedroom with a door, the other double bed is available on the upper floor (attic with sea view, magnificent!). We were there in the off-season in mid-September, which was great! The large terrace is very pleasant, also the hot tub with various functions (massage jet etc.), a large bench and two sun loungers. The restaurant under the terrace plays music all day, but it was tasteful and not too loud (relaxed music). And important at high temperatures: the air conditioning in the house worked perfectly. Last but not least, Fotis' wife is very friendly, attentive and accommodating, she checked everything. Go for it, Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ!

The family of 4 stayed 3 weeks at Yiannis house. The house is located on the hill above Zakynthos. It is less then 10 m drive to the centre, Port supermarkets and even some beaches. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Yiannis is an excellent host and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for an accommodation in Zante. He has given us lots of advices, recommendations. He replied any of my messages immediately. The house is big and can easily host up to 6 people. Parking is safe in the backyard. The area is nice, the view from the balconies is stunning! Sunrises are must to see) We were provided with basic welcome package though the house has absolutely everything for the comfortable stay. Thank you Yiannis. We will be happy to consider to book your house again. The house, as actually an entire island, requires to have a car. We dined in nearby Taverna Acrotiri on Yiannis recommendation and we liked it. The food and service was really good.

Amazing location and views, with great beaches and restaurants nearby. The hosts let us borrow snorkels and beach towels which was handy and we enjoyed being greeted by Nala the (very sweet) dog every time we arrived home!

If I could, I would give Soula and the location of their house 6 stars. Soula greeted us kindly, with gifts and homemade food in the fridge. The location of the house was exactly like that, we wished it: very private,right on a beautiful beach with open terrace. We were surprised by the number of rooms - the photos in the ad suggest that there are several bedrooms: The children's room is a bunk bed above the parent bed (in this room is the only air conditioning), another is in the kitchen and the fourth on the terrace.. no problem for us,but just not as expected. The kitchen is well equipped and you will find everything you need if you want to take care of yourself. As for cleanliness, don't look so closely. In any case we would come back!!

Chris is very responsive and helps you with what you need the terrace is wonderfull and there's lot of shadow during the day. also beautifil sunset from terrace very clean appartment comfortable beds, rooms big enough the kitchine has what you need for cooking something fast there is a bbq which we used it several times - very useful there's a pool with free acces the beach is 2' away you have all you need nearby - supermarket, lots of taverns, rent a car

The apartment was much larger than expected, there was a large terrace and a small balcony right next to the kitchen, which was great. There were also two bedrooms and the kitchen was superbly equipped. In the house, there are two apartments directly above each other and one directly opposite, so you have to know that it is not totally private. The village itself is very cute, extremely quiet and you can walk to good restaurants within 20 minutes. Nadia herself was very helpful and nice. We felt very comfortable and would come back!

We stayed at the air bnb for a week and had a great time. Place is quiet with a beautiful view. The house is beautiful too! Everything is kept clean and upon arrival there was a large fruit basket and Greek delicacies ready. We got plenty of tips to do in the area. She also arranged a rental car for us which was completely top. Everything went smoothly and are definitely planning to come back again.

The apartment is quite basic, but we knew it before we made the reservation as we were looking for a cheaper room in a quiet place. We were lucky because we got an apartment on the ground floor which has a big private terrace (and a cute family of cats who’ll visit). The surroundings are beautiful and close by you’ll find some of the most beautiful beaches in Zakynthos! In fact, looking back we would probably have stayed on this side of the island a bit longer. Giannis was a very reactive host and welcomed us with local wine, olive oil, olives, fruit and water 💙 he also spontaneously suggested a local party with traditional Greek music and dances. If you miss anything in the apartment just ask and they’ll be happy to provide. Would definitely go back!

The room was very cozy and a great stay, the balcony was a great addition. If you’re looking to be an extra tan the sun is in a perfect spot to do so. Also any questions about the town or recommendations I was asking for they gave great ones back and also always responded within 20 minutes so all in all everything was great!

We spent an amazing vacation at Nikos' AirBnB. The apartment is located a little bit up the hill (ca. 100m), but is easily approachable by car and even has a convenient way to access it by foot. Since it is not located in the city center, it is really quiet and the view on the ocean from the balcony is amazing. The apartment itself is nicely decorated and offers everything you need - and even if it does not, Nikos is quick to sort you out. For example, we encountered that the provided parasol was broken and just a few hours later Nikos provided us a new one (thanks again!). Further, Nikos is really helpful with recommendations. Only the internet connection was really bad so if you're planning to work there, we would not recommend it. However, it is sufficient for a vacation.

Lovely villa. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings but only a 10 minute drive (€10 taxi) from Zakynthos town. It’s tricky to find but Aliki who lives next door and I guess manages the property was very helpful and spoke to our taxi driver to give directions. Aliki is lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

We recently stayed at Skala Cottage for a week with family and our 8-month-old baby, and it was truly a dream holiday home. The location couldn’t have been more ideal—just a short 2-minute stroll to local shops, charming restaurants, and the beach, yet tucked away in a peaceful spot with no noise at night, offering the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The cottage itself has a beautiful boutique feel while still being incredibly warm and welcoming. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it feel like a true home away from home. The highchair and cot provided for our baby made traveling with a little one so much easier. We were especially touched by the generous welcome basket awaiting us on arrival—stocked with fresh fruit, bread, butter, biscuits, wine, tea, coffee, and more. It was such a thoughtful surprise and set the tone for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Skala Cottage exceeded all our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return!!

Everything was smooth and perfect. The view was crazy, the terrace is exceptional. Good location, parking facilities 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay – even if the weather unfortunately threw a wrench in our plans. Dina is an incredibly warm host, we felt totally comfortable from the beginning! ✨🦋 The apartment was super clean, the kitchen very well equipped and the smart TV was really worth its weight in gold in rainy weather. The outdoor area with the beautiful garden furniture and the pool also looked great – too bad we couldn't use it due to the weather. We were particularly touched by the lovely welcome gift and even a small farewell gift – we were really overwhelmed! Thank you, dear Dina, also for your many tips and your cordiality. We had a great holiday with our family, including our 2 year old grandson. The setting is lovely - surrounded by olive groves and very secluded. There is other accommodation nearby, but we weren't really aware of it. It's a short walk into the village, with a few shops and restaurants, and a very short walk to the beach, which, when we were there in late May, was very quiet. The beach was sheltered and ideal for children. There were beach bars and sunbeds nearby. The garden and the pool were lovely - the pool was beautifully cleaned every day. The house was cleaned twice during our stay to a high standard. The house itself was very comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the gas barbecue. Helen and Spyros were very quick to respond to any queries that we had and to help us deal with a couple of minor problems. They were very helpful and provided a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and baby monitor. They provided a bespoke welcome pack.

What a wonderful place! The owners are absolutely lovely people who gave us such a warm welcome. We had a barbecue every day, the pool was always clean, and the apartment was spotless with everything you need for daily living. The view of the sea from the balcony in the morning is simply breathtaking. Our vacation is rated 1000000/10 ❤️ It was an amazing time, and if we could, we would stay even longer! We wholeheartedly recommend this place – it's truly worth visiting!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa, the place was absolutely beautiful. With our group of 15 we had more than enough space, especially the outside area was spacious. Dionysius was proactive and helped in any way he could which any problems we encountered. He even came by daily to clean the pool and ask if we needed anything. The time we spent here was amazing, and the communication via chat was outstanding.

Xenofon’s villa was the most incredible place to spend our honeymoon! The location was ideal, as it was only a short drive to several restaurants and look-out points. During our stay, we frequently interacted with Spiros, who was always kind and extremely helpful providing us with recommendations for some of the best traditional Greek food and a boat tour. This was an unforgettable trip and we look forward to returning.
