Monthly Rentals in Alicudi

Even though my expectations were high, they got surpassed during my week in Alicudi. The island itself is a little gem, and the Casa dei forni served as the perfect spot for exploring the surroundings but is also very beautiful and cosy in itself which meant the time spent at home truly felt qualitative. The house is quite accessible from the port, it has everything you need and the view from the terrace is spectacular. The interaction with Matteo has been 100% positive and Miriam who introduced me to the house and the island was super helpful and very attentive. I am so happy with my stay here and felt very melancholic as I left this morning.

This was a most magical isolated vacation. It was even better than the pictures. Michaela was a most gracious and helpful host. We ran into a few hiccups during our stay and she was right there to help. Our home had very sweet touches like flower bouquets and sweet treats. The outdoor shower was amazing! My only complaint is that we left too soon. If you like to hike and swim in isolation, this is your spot!

The villa is located in the most beautiful part of Alicudi, it has been recently restored, it is well cared for in detail and equipped with everything you need, to be on such a particular island. Paolo and his point of contact Anna have always been readily available to any questions or concerns. I recommend, to all people who like to walk (about 35 min from the port and ONLY uphill), to stay here, where their eyes fill with sky, sea and wonderful stars. In Alicudi you have to earn everything, walking and sweating, it is not an island suitable for everyone, it is an island that selects its guests in departure but the view from the terrace of Paolo's villa, undoubtedly pays off, every step done! Practical information: in addition to your personal expense, which you will have to do in port as soon as you get off the ferry, remember to ask what you will find in the house of necessity and what you should buy down, before going up, because the first time you do that climb, you won't want to do it right away

What an incredible place to unwind and find peace in a pristine surrounding. Cecile’s home is nothing short of inspired. The walk up to her place is not a light one, but your efforts are rewarded ten times over. Chiara was very helpful in getting us situated, and making connections for us on the island. We’d be happy to stay again.
