Rustic Cozy Cabin Retreat on Lake Superior

Robin was the best! She had wonderful recommendations for hikes, snowshoeing, and places to eat. The cozy cabin was stocked with everything you could want for a comfortable get-away - the wood fire stove was our favorite. We were even greeted with candies upon our arrival and baked goods upon departure! We will most certainly be back and will recommend her place to family and friends. It was the perfect snowy mini-vacation for my husband and me!

We really enjoyed our stay, the view and the hosts left out lots of little extras like breakfast for the first morning, coffee, tea, eggs, milk, as well as a little for the evening like wine, beer and homemade brownies, so delicious! They were also very responsive Will definitely recommend them to others and come back

Cliff's Place Guest House

It was like walking into the home of someone who was just away for a few days and let you use their home in their absence. We loved the pictures, knick knacks and the like. The well stocked cupboards made us feel welcome. We did enjoy the birds at the bird feeder. Also, it was so quiet and peaceful. The river is in the backyard. We walked to the boat launch which was two houses over and then walked along the river. Everything was nice and clean and comfortable. We have been through Iron Bridge hundreds of times and never been off the main road, we were thrilled to find this hidden gem. We wished that we could stay longer. Best homeshare we ever experienced. It was amazing.

Really enjoyed our stay at Paulina’s. Very close to where we wanted to be. The place was very clean and cozy. It had all the necessities that you would need. It snowed a ton the first night we were there, and someone was there early plowing the driveway. Would stay there again

If I could give this place more than 5 "glowing" stars, I would. The guest house itself felt like we were home. It was tidy, all kitchen supplies were well organized, easy to find, complete. The bed/matress was comfortable. The washroom was clean, no foul odour. We loved the recliner, it looks new and so comfy. Well-maintained property. Easy access to a gorgeous beach/lake. It was worth it to wake up early to watch the sunrise, with the leaves falling, the foliage, the water, and the sun, you will get one of the best sunrise picture here. The location was close to a general store, trails, and about less than an hour to Lake Superior. We would also give Ed and Lisa extra sparkling stars for welcoming us to their property and for being one of the best local guide in town, they showed us where to watch the Northern Lights and how to perfectly photograph them. They were easy to reach and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We will definitely stay here again.
