Super cute! The gnome theme was carried out through the entire property. It’s extremely remote but that’s exactly what we wanted. The only downside is having one bathroom but that was well communicated in the description of the property.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves very much! We originally chose a cabin for our stay! Upon arrival, Dusty greeted us and explained where everything was! We got to our cabin to find an unexpected water leak! Dusty quickly checked it out and placed us in one of his yurts! Honestly we ended up being glad it happened as it did the yurt was really nice! It’s a very beautiful peaceful place! Everyone is respectful to other visitors! We were really impressed with the whole set up and all the hard work dusty has put in to allowing others to be able to enjoy his space! Perfect little get away close to home! We will definitely be returning to stay again!

Home was beautiful! I rented this home for my niece birthday, so she could have a sleepover with friends. She also wanted the option to have a nice view of the lake. This house provides everything you can think of. My two teens even had privacy upstairs, while the younger girls had downstairs. Matt was very responsive to all of my questions. The only negative about the area is the signal dies, and I left the house to go to Walmart and almost forgot to start the gps. There’s also plenty of space to park outside the home, and the home is tucked away so you’re not disturbing others or being disturbed. It’s a 5 star rental and if needed again I would choose here…

Beautiful home!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and stunning place to stay. All the amenities and small little touches that are done in the house were beyond expectation. Would definitely stay again if in the area! Thank you for making our trip to Auburn extremely memorable.

This place is a slice of heaven. We spent five days here over Thanksgiving and we did not want to leave. The cabin is beautiful and was spotless. Sid and Ted had the lights on, Christmas decorations up, and a pitcher of water welcoming us. The kitchen is completely stocked, and Sid made sure we had everything we could possibly need to cook a big turkey meal. Throughout the cabin, they thought of everything to make the stay wonderful and provided too many extras to list here. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. We enjoyed daily walks around this gorgeous property, read on the porch’s rocking chairs, and a highlight for all of us - when Clay taught us how to rope! It was a bonus for us to meet Sid, Ted, Clay and Mallory - it honestly felt like we were visiting family. We have never met such warm, hospitable people and we cannot wait to return. It truly is a place to get away from it all - when you go, ask Ted about the history of how the cabin was built.

Such a great place! She has everything you need. We love staying at Airbnb's but Annamarie takes it a few steps further with a lot of personal touches. It was comfy and cozy. We have a 19 & 14 yr old, they loved the bunk in the 2nd bedroom. We loved the porch. The area was quiet and we still had plenty of privacy even though the neighbors are close.The kayaks were awesome. So many good things to say. She has a great place, we will without a doubt come back.

Gorgeous views from the house and the back porch. 🌲🍁 The back porch is a dream🤩 Safe for dogs and kids and perfect for cocktails 🍹 and morning coffee. Large kitchen for cooking, with all you need- crock pot / toaster oven /pots and pans. 👩‍🍳 Large living area for family to watch a movie, arts and crafts, puzzles, play games and lots of toys available for the littles. Plenty of pillows / blankets / towels 15 mins to dollar general 20 mins to a nice grocery store Lake Martin pizza co. 🍕 yummy! We had a fantastic time hanging with family and relaxing. ☺️ Water pressure is low but doable. We hope to go back in the summer ! Thank you!

It is a beautiful place and very peaceful. Any questions i had Josh responded quickly and was a great host. The location is great being 5 minutes from anything you need plus family friendly places everywhere. Will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Johnnie’s place four times now. He responds immediately and is very accommodating. It is a great place for family gatherings during the holidays. We love that the kids can play and sleep downstairs. We feel right at home there.

5 stars – Peaceful and full of charm! Maggie’s place is a cozy, rustic getaway surrounded by nature. We fished, explored the creek, and relaxed by the fire pit. The view from the bed was stunning, and the whole property has an old-world, peaceful vibe. A perfect place to unplug and reconnect with what matters. Thank you for another perfect stay!!

We had a wonderful time at the log cabin. Peaceful, relaxing and exactly what we were looking for this holiday. The property is gorgeous. The cabin has incredible character while being still comfortable and having the amenities we needed. We found hiking trails just 10 minutes away at Double Oak. Best of all, it was quality time spent enjoying our boys and our pup.

This is a newer listing, very private in a wooded area overlooking a babbling creek across the road from the porch. It was very quiet, secluded, peaceful.

What a wonderful Airbnb! We stayed in Thomas’ place for a girls weekend and Auburn’s Homecoming. Everything was just as described and was equipped with everything you need. Thomas was very responsive and so nice, even though I know it was a very busy weekend for him. Tiger Transit picks up right at the entrance, which was great! Thank you Thomas!

Michael was a great host. One of the friendliest people we’ve met. Great place, right on the water, and perfect if you’re in the area fishing!

A great and easy place to stay! Highly recommend!

This cabin was perfect for our family to come home to during my cousins wedding festivities. The cabin was SO cute inside, the beds were extremely comfortable, and all of the little extra touches made it feel just like home. We were greeted with a basket of treats and a pitcher of filtered water ready to go in the fridge. There was a basket of toiletries in case you forgot and comfortable blankets on every bed and couch. The plants in every room of the house were my favorite personal touch. My boys slept great in the twin bed and my daughter felt like a princess having the loft to herself. I can’t recommend this cute cabin enough!

We had ages 12 to 92 and everyone loved the accommodations and the peaceful atmosphere of the lake. Great place at this time of year! My Mom enjoyed her birthday (92) …. It was wonderful to have the screened in porch so she could watch the kids in the kayaks!

Tressie was a wonderful host. The home was clean and free of clutter. Easy check-in and check-out. 10/10 would recommend. 👌

Tamar communicated very well . Always responded with helpful and kind answers. Her place was nice , private and safe. It is only a mile and half from the Martingayle Plantation were we attended a Wedding. If your looking for a place in Shorter or attending a Wedding at one of the two venues in the area I recommend staying here.
