This is a very homely place, quiet, peaceful and perfect as a base for us. I have stayed in Mandria many times as a regular Spring visitor and really enjoyed the double balcony on this place giving sunshine both early and late. Lots of little extras like oil, vinegar, salt pepper, sugar and coffee. Also UK TV and good Wi-Fi. I would be happy to return. In my opinion a car is needed to get the most from your stay.

We loved our stay at Symela's Nest. It completely met our needs, we especially loved having our breakfast on the roof terrace. Communicating with Vagelis and Maria was super easy and they were so kind and helpful in all of their messages. We would have loved to have met them in person to thank them for everything. For us Anogyra was the perfect base to explore the Troodos mountains and the coastal area. We loved, that it was so small and quiet and the people in the village were really friendly. If we come back one day, we would definitely stay at Symela's Nest again.

Absolutely loved our stay at Peter’s place! The location is perfect—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. The home itself is spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as described (if not better!), and it’s clear that Peter takes great care in maintaining the property. We slept so well thanks to the calm surroundings and cozy setup. Peter was a fantastic host—very responsive, respectful of our privacy, and genuinely helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything. He made check-in super easy and gave great local tips, which made our stay even more enjoyable. This spot is a hidden gem, and we’re so glad we found it. Whether you’re looking to unwind or explore the area, this is the perfect base. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. Very nice big house in a traditional village. The accomodation is well equipped, you find all what you need for a comfortable stay. Many tools in the kitchen and vintage furnitures in the other rooms, all of them very clean. One bedroom with bathroom is just outdoor the main entrance, facing the nice courtyard. About the location, it is ca. 10 km from the highway, the road leading up the hill with some curves. Very quite area, parking just behind the house. Christos was very kind, his guide is useful to explore Cyprus. We visited the place in february, some restaurants/cafes were closed, but in the spring/summer months you will have more options. Recommended if you are looking for a relaxing place in the countryside of the island.
