Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Albany

First of all, a 1 o’clock check in started us off on a very happy note. Then, having room for each female to have her own bed made a for peaceful stay. The biggest thing was how much the space was warm, comforting, and full of character. The sliders provided a broad view of the lake. The kitchen with the open area to dining and front area provided an open concept feel to an older home while maintaining its true character. The tall cabinets contained every utensil/small appliance that we needed and more. We brought a bag of board games as we know what we like, but there was a great variety already there. While there was plenty of room, we felt “together” in that space. We can only imagine the beauty that arrives later in spring. Thank you for having us!

5 stars all around! The view and the setting are magical. The house is brilliantly appointed and designed. What a dream to stay in this house!! We want to come back for a stay in every season to experience it again and again! The interior is extremely cozy while being beautiful at the same time. Amazing place and surroundings! Were looking for a peaceful weekend away and it was just perfect - Kitchen had everything we needed for home cooking and a closet full of board games for some great family time - The view is breathtaking and a great firepit and small creek just below.

We loved how quiet and peaceful the location was. We also loved the homey touches- the local books, the honor store out back, the fact that there was the cafe under the apartment. The setting was beautiful and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the brook and the spring peepers!

My wife, dog, and I had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Michael's place. The land is beautiful, the place itself is actually even nicer than the pictures, and there is plenty to do in the area. We will definitely be coming back!

The hosts are super helpful and the place has 10+ working pinball/other game machines! The apartment was very clean, and accurate to what is posted.

Perfect getaway spot for a couple. The accommodations had everything we could possibly need. The property and decor were creative, unique and purposefully designed. It was both amazing, inspiring and comforting. We spoke with Monica in the garden. She was extremely kind and an absolute pleasure to talk to. This property was a great find!!!

Very pleasant apartment. We enjoyed the outside swing by the flower garden the most! We ate on the outside table. We also used the outdoor gas grill. Everything you would need was available. Even eggs, bread, butter along with coffee, sugar and milk. We had fish and chips for lunch at the liL Brit. Very pleasant stay for my first time stay at an airBnB, thank you James

We really loved our stay. The pictures did not do it justice (it’s much bigger in person). It was very quiet and peaceful. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you can. Also the hosts were super kind. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. :-)

cute house and wonderful weekend

The AK Lodge was perfect for our multi family, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Having private bathrooms in each bedroom was great. Justyna was very responsive and always answered any questions within minutes. We will defiantly be back.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

Beautiful old home full of an eclectic art collection. It served my group's needs well. Never did find the lockbox for the keys. Had to get them from the on-site groundskeeper, which was a difficult task given we had a significant language barrier. The outside of the house could use some maintenance, so if that is important to you, this may not be the place for you. My one complaint is that they expect you replace the paper towels and toilet paper you use. I would expect those to be included at any price, but especially for the price you pay for this location. Overall, it was a great stay for two nights and we had fun exploring the house.

We had a great time staying here! The house was clean and matched the description perfectly. It's the perfect place to stay to go skiing in the winter or hiking in the summer!

This house is gorgeous!! Our group had a fantastic time. There is so much space, plenty of room for the three families we had staying there. All the kids loved it at Jean's house, from the babies to the 5 year old there was plenty to do and lots of amenities. The theater room was a huge hit! The hot tub was perfect for the adults and we loved how close it was to the house so we could run in after getting out! The view was fantastic even in the winter. We are already talking about coming back in the summer to enjoy the gorgeous infinity pool. This place is really special and we will be talking about it for a long time.

Anthony's house was an excellent venue for the weekend of our son's wedding in Williamstown. It easily fit the eight family members staying there with plenty of privacy on three floors and great gathering spaces on the main floor, deck, and pool deck. We're grateful the pool was open; the kids loved it on a hot afternoon of our stay. If you are looking at this house, don't let the backroads approaching it look like a liability. They are well maintained and allow easy access to Williamstown and the southern Vermont towns along route 7, yet the quiet location will insure you sleep well.
