Great refuge for rest, secluded but with a wonderful view. There are 3 separate houses. We will certainly return.

We loved our 5 day stay at Casa do Jardim! The home is clean, attractive and has high quality appliances and accessories. The peaceful location is soul-mending. There are even sheep grazing nearby! This is a secluded and private place to spend a restful holiday. Tiago is extremely helpful and made wonderful recommendations of nearby points of interest and restaurants.

Very well-equipped house to accommodate its visitors very comfortably. The heated pool is phenomenal. The family that takes care of the house is attentive to the needs and treated us with affection. Ideal house for those looking for peace and quiet and it was exactly what we were looking for: a house with a pool that is not shared with anyone else, in a rural area.

It was a great stay, soon upon entering it surprised by the positive since in the photographs the house looks smaller than in reality. A fully renovated space with a more rustic and regional touch in the decor. There is parking at a few meters which is also a point in favor. I highlight the comfort and how pleasant the outdoor space is, arguably the most used area in our stay. The swimming pool and the living area that being equipped with exterior sockets allowed us to spend much of our days in the backyard. We also refer to the friendliness of the hostess, super pleasant and available for any questions. Congratulations and a lot of success. Thank you!

We were so lucky to find this place after our other booking fell through. Hugo was extremely responsive and flexible with having us check in last minute and on odd hours. It has a beautiful “Spanish wood cabin” feel that is perfect for families, friend groups, or couples! We loved it, and found it to be a hidden gem. We didn’t know anything about the town of Borba before, and were just stopping by on our road trip, but it ended up being one of our favorite stops thanks to this place and the kindness and flexibility of its hosts!

The house was very clean and had lots of space. Some of the beds were very firm so we did have to trade rooms with one of our kids for a softer mattress. Overall a great house with plenty to explore in the area. Went to the local cheese shop and got great sight seeing recommendations from the worker. The Marble Museum had cool sculptures and info about the local areas history in extracting marble. The pool is not heated and was a little chilly in late September, but the kids still had fun.

The accommodation is beautiful, the decoration is very nice and well-kept and the house is very nice with a very nice outdoor area to enjoy. The village where the house is located has hardly anything, and the only problem has been the traffic that passes in front of the house, which from 6 in the morning you can hear cars passing by because it is on the road.

This is a hidden gem nestled in a vineyard with a nice vegetable and fruit garden. Beautiful mild scented roses lined the entrance way to our villa. There was a large beautiful pool and our place was very clean. If you want a quiet relaxing time away from noise, light and air pollution this is the place to unwind. We did many day trips to the neighbouring towns and was always happy to be back here. Margarida and her husband, Joaquim, were gracious hosts who allowed us to pick fruits and vegetables from their farm. We enjoyed two bottles of wine (red and white wine) from their own vineyard which was very nice. Great view! Rustic and so close to nature. Great for guests who want a retreat for contemplation and to have a fun time with their families.

9 of us (two families, with a total of 5 kids) stopped here for two night on our way from Lisbon to Seville. It was a serene, quiet, and absolutely wonderful place. The views are beyond spectacular, and the access to the village of Vila Boim and the town of Elvas was easy.

We had a blast for my 30th birthday. Perfect location, beautiful house with an amazing garden. John was super helpful with the checking and very kind.

The house was very charming. It was a quaint, traditional home, and it was very well maintained and renovated. It was wonderful spending time at the house. Visiting Murao in the fall makes finding a restaurant difficult in town during the week, so if you plan to visit in the off season, just be aware that there may be few options during the week.

We had a fantastic stay at Constança’s place! The house is big and accommodates a large party such as our family (16 people) with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors. Communication was smooth throughout and Constança was able to provide catering options for the first night where we ordered delicious Alentejo food. The fireplaces made for a cosy setting when the night sets in and the air gets frisky. Finally, the garden provided with a nice outside setting, full of lemon and oranges ready to be consumed and a nice barbecue. 5/5 recommend this place
