Very well-equipped house to accommodate its visitors very comfortably. The heated pool is phenomenal. The family that takes care of the house is attentive to the needs and treated us with affection. Ideal house for those looking for peace and quiet and it was exactly what we were looking for: a house with a pool that is not shared with anyone else, in a rural area.

Friendly, accessible and responsible host. Great location, space corresponds to the described, quiet, friendly and with many attractions in an action radius of 20 km. Unspeakable for a few days of peace, quiet and quiet.

Cute old cottage. Great pool and sunbathing area with plenty of loungers to enjoy the beautiful view of the vines and olive trees. Great big common space. Jane was very friendly and had lots of tips for restaurants and things to do. Nice quiet location. A perfect place to relax. You can see lots of stars at night when the sky is clear. Thank you for everything!

We had a great long weekend at this place. The house is very spacious and has all the needed amenities in very good condition incl. the pool and the barbecue. The beds are very comfortable such as all towels. The kitchen is very well equipped with all sorts of utensils. The access is a bit difficult, specially for lower cars. It's a dirt road and then, when getting to the property, there's a steep hill with gravel.

This house was just the right size for a small family getaway in one of the most beautiful regions of Alentejo. Located in the charming and typically Portuguese village of Motrinos—where time seems to slow down—it offers the perfect base to explore the area’s stunning landscapes and rich gastronomic culture. From São Lourenço do Barrocal, just minutes away, to nearby towns known for their historical landmarks, renowned restaurants, and excellent wine cellars, everything is within easy reach. The house itself features a refreshing small pool, a well-equipped BBQ for enjoying local produce, and a laid-back atmosphere that invites you to truly unwind. As locals, we found the experience to be authentically Portuguese—relaxing, flavorful, and deeply satisfying.

Great!!! The house is very spacious, clean, well-maintained and well decorated. It is also very well equipped, we found everything we need. Bedding and bath linens are different, great. Despite the heat, the rooms are very fresh and there is air conditioning in the bedrooms, so we are very comfortable. The pool is outstanding and bigger than it looks on the pictures. Mr. Luis is very attentive, welcomed us very well and referred us to great restaurants and sightseeing. We had a very pleasant time during our stay. Would recommend.

I wanted to get out of Lisbon and into the countryside for the weekend and this place was ideal. I just received a promotion the day of the trip and wanted to celebrate with some wine, but arrived at about 9pm. I was able to walk into the village (15 minute walk) and have some nice conversations with the bartender and owner and had a few drinks there and walked back. Locals were very friendly. The next morning we arose and there were sheep just outside our door (well, fenced in) and we were surrounded by cork and olive trees. Peace and quiet with the sounds of sheep and sheep bells echoing across the valley (occassional car too, but not too bad). About a ten minute walk to one of those prehistoric rock formations was a nice jaunt. We also drove up to the old chapel former monastery with fantastic views (also makes for a great hike if you're up for it). The space itself was nice, just keep in mind no kitchen. Communication was great and overall I left feeling refreshed.

The place is very new, spacious. Having 2 bathrooms integrated into the rooms is very comfortable for 2 couples. We were at ease and use it as a base to visit Olivenza, Elvas, Estremoz and Vila Viçosa, which we really liked, although it must be said that the roads are rather narrow and in works or not very good conditions. As details to improve, we would put the electric power, since the light went out three or four times, when the heating and some appliance coincided. However, we resolved the situation easily in each case by turning to the electrical box and the property responded quickly when we communicated the issue to you and very kindly offered to compensate us with an extra night, committing to fix the issue for the future. Overall the experience was very positive.

Loved the stay!! The house was very welcoming ,very well located,with a fantastic view of the great lakes and with all the conditions! Highly recommend the place!!

It was not by chance that we chose to return to the Village of São Gregório. We were very happy when we chose to visit it for the first time and this was no exception! Excellent stay for those who want a quiet and peaceful place. The hospitality was, once again, exceptional. Casa da Vinha is perfect for 4 people, with a cozy and spacious interior and equipped with all the basic amenities. Outside spaces are very pleasant. The village's four-legged inhabitants once again made our stay even more special! We want to commend the work of D. Maria, as always very helpful and attentive. To you, Salvador, we thank you for all your availability and attention. Thank you for the excellent work and for being quite flexible with us. We miss it already. We'll be back soon, Márcia and Luís

This was the perfect stay for us. The house was so cute. Romantic, peaceful, the most beautiful view. Walking distance to several great restaurants and bars.

What a peaceful stay at Maria’s house with our dogs! In the mornings, my partner worked in the lounge while the dogs and I relaxed on the balcony. In the afternoons we explored the area and the towns nearby which were easy to drive to. If you need a place to disconnect and just hear the sounds of nature and the occasional friendly “Bon día”, this is your place!! Thank you for hosting us Maria! Hopefully we will be back soon.

The house is actually much nicer than the photos - we had a great time and it's the perfect location to explore the area. Antonio was really helpful and left us thoughtful gifts which we really appreciate! Will definitely stay here again if we return and will recommend to friends. Thanks Antonio!

Sergio was responsive and lovely throughout our stay. We had lots of requests for local info and he helped us out way beyond the necessary. This place is an oasis in Corval. It was so great to have the pool to jump into after a hot day out. The location is beautiful and the house was a great spot to explore the surrounding area. The drive from Lisbon is easy and picturesque. Highly recommend!
