Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Alamance County

This is the second time we have stayed here. The house is very clean and well organized, the host is very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we visit our Elon student. Highly recommend!

Allison and Michael were wonderful hosts, accommodating a last-minute request for a month-long stay. The accommodations were quaint, kitschy, and fun. Nice big backyard to watch birds and look at the woods or play yard games. The historic Glencoe Textile Mill neighborhood is populated by friendly people, borders the Haw River with scads of walking trails, and is quite serene. Highly recommend.

This is the perfect place for a large group. We rented for Mom's weekend. We were all so happy to gather together in one spacious and comfy place. The beds are so comfy and cozy. The yard was excellent to hang out by the fire. Everything is walkable!!! We loved it!!!

The Feel Better Bungalow lives up to its name! It is a beautiful, relaxing home in a lovely peaceful setting. We enjoyed the complimentary yoga, walking to Elon's Campus for coffee, and seeing deer stroll around the house as we relaxed on the private back deck. The home is very comfortably and thoughtfully furnished as well as cheerful and bright with Shelley's pretty paintings, two of which I purchased for my own home! Shelley was always responsive and available if needed. My daughters and I hope to have an opportunity to stay again and enjoy this special home!

Dr Bebe is a wonderful host and her home is the perfect place to stay! The breakfast is great, space is clean and comfy, but the best amenity is Dr Bebe’s warm and welcoming spirit.

This is a beautifully modernized cabin on the woods. Julie was a fabulous host as she really paid attention to the little details that make a home rental experience special. The instructions for the accessing and functioning in the cabin were clear and simple. We enjoyed going on walks, making cookies in the kitchen,playing board games and lying around on the comfortable couch watching football. We had a fabulously relaxing time.

We had another great stay at this location. Communications with Bence leading up to our stay were timely and clear. The condition of the house was excellent. A great place to stay in the area!

The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable beds, great kitchen, spotless bathroom, fantastic outdoor space. The location was tucked back from the road, lots of room for the pup to run around. We will absolutely stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. The location is good, the cottage was sweet and had everything we needed plus some. Rain is an excellent host and we would definitely stay there again.

This studio apartment suited our needs perfectly. It had all of the amenities we needed and was in a nice neighborhood just minutes away from the Elon University campus. Access was simple and flexible and Maureen was a great host!

Jeanette’s place was perfect! Super peaceful and quiet, amazingly clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Jeanette was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. We 100% recommend and would love to stay here again next time we’re in the area :)

We can't decide which was better, the apartment or the hosts. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is meticulously cared for and is even better than it appears in the photos. We stayed for a month, so we had the pleasure of spending some time with Kurt and Carol. They are gracious hosts and very accomodating - the nicest folks you will find anywhere. If you have a chance to stay here, do not pass it up. Thanks again for your kindness and hospitality.

The Farm Stay studio was perfect! It was beautiful and bright and cozy, with gorgeous views of the farm and pond. The use of space was incredible with every amenity needed available. Great shower as well! Betty sent us so many ideas of places to see in the area and was a wonderful host! We hope to stay again when we return to the area.

This was not my first stay at the Scout House, and it will not be my last. Everything about it is perfection - from the location, to the property, to the sensational hosts (Marie & BJ). My stay was delightful in every way and I cannot wait to return!

This cabin is in such a beautiful spot! Drinking coffee while sitting on the back porch overlooking the creek is magical.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

This cabin is bright and cozy, the environs idyllic, and Daniel was extremely responsive and went the extra mile checking in on us when snow was predicted before our stay and making sure the steps were de-iced and the boot tray was handy. very comfortable and convenient!

I was fortunate enough to be able to book Amy’s place for Christmas and it was perfect. Large enough to have the family together with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. There isn’t one thing I would change about our stay. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I was lucky to briefly meet Amy and had a great chat she is very friendly. We will certainly book this house again. Thanks Amy

A peaceful and quiet retreat- my dog and I felt right at home. This was just what we needed while visiting one of my adult children who is battling a severe health issue and being treated at UNC hospitals. Our hope is to return once a month to this wooded oasis.

Great spot, great hosts, easy check in, Map apps won’t have an issue finding the place. Living in a big city, it was nice to fall asleep to crickets and enjoy the birds in the morning.
