Vacation rentals with beach access in Akumal

Great stay – happy to come back! We had a really nice stay! Originally we had booked another apartment, but due to construction work we were relocated to another place – and we were more than satisfied with it. Everything was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The host was friendly and took good care of everything. Will definitely come back again and can only recommend the place!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Douglas, Krystal and their team were always responsive and helpful. Sergio, the onsite manager, was especially helpful and when a couple small things needed maintenance, got them fixed very quickly. He also helped me when we needed to prepare for the Hurricane that came through Playa. (The building is made very sturdy, so nothing broke). It's very close to 5th avenue, beaches, grocery, everything you need. Also very convenient is the washing machine/dryer just outside the apartment! I would stay again. The apartment was great in a quiet peaceful area walkable distance to everything and close to the beach entrance for beach 72. Comfortable place, great pool, good bed and bathroom, kitchen has everything you may need and the porch has great views of the ocean.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at Jamie's Mareazul vacation home. The home was beautiful, clean. The view of the sea was spectacular and even more beautiful than the photos. The resort is accessible and high quality. The restaurants were expensive, but convenient. It is a bit of a hike to PDC, but the location allowed for a quiet, peaceful vacation away from the noise. Jamie was an excellent host. She responded to every question promptly and was extremely communicative and helpful. I cannot more highly recommend this location!

Thierry is a great host! Very responsive and able to assist in anything you need during your stay. His condo was perfect for our family vacation. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the pool, the fabulous beach right out front and loved how walkable the area was; very safe, even at night. Taxis always waiting outside too if you need to go a little further. This location is perfect and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The beds were super comfortable and the condo was clean, quiet, and the AC was excellent when needing to cool off after being in the sun all day. We will be back! 😎

We loved the location of Sonny's place in the Amira District. It was walkable to beach and many restaurants. Also loved the rooftop pool and the actual airbnb was roomy and accommodated the three of us very comfortably. You will never have to worry about responsiveness from Sonny. He was very helpful with recommendations and any questions we had from before our stay until after. Thank you Sonny for a great vacation in Tulum!

Daniela’s condo was perfectly serene, clean, sophisticated, and offered the most gorgeous garden views from the massive sliding doors onto the main floor private patio. I truly loved climbing into bed each night as the mattress was incredibly comfortable - and the black-out curtains made it dark for sleeping deep. She also provided filtered water, coffee pods for AM cappuccinos, and everything you need for cooking meals in the simple and clean kitchen! I would definitely book my next Playa Del Carmen stay here - as Ipana condo building is amazing in many ways including the rooftop pools and perfect location for walking to 5th Ave, my fave tree-rich pedestrian street Calle 38, and the close-by beaches only 10 min walk! Daniela was responsive and helpful in all our communications - from start to finish. Wonderful person to trust and receive support for a great visit in Playa! Thank you Daniela! <3

Wow, BOOK it now! We loved our Spring Break retreat here. The sprawling house is amazing. It was perfect for our 2 families (9 ppl - 4 adults, 5 teen or preteens). We had enough room to spread out but all connect in the amazing spots throughout the property. The house setup gives lots of flexibility to accommodate variety of guests. The porch is awesome. The pool and waterfall are relaxing. The cenote is truly uniques. The support team (Ruth - housekeeper and Rafael - handyman, grounds) are a superb extra perk. We coordinated for a bfast and dinner by Ruth and perfecto. They treat the property and guests with real caring. The location is convenient for all types of activities. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend.

Beautiful stay! Very comfortable for our family of 4!! So nice to have beach gear (chairs, beach blanket, snorkels/fins/masks/small umbrella) and household basics provided (tp, dish soap, drinking water, shower soaps, napkins, cooking oils and spices, and ground coffee). We enjoyed the back yard space a bunch. Loved the coffee shop treats in the Am. It's a lovely comfortable spot.

Carolina’s place was the perfect combination of having everything we wanted in a place to stay and being close to downtown Cozumel when we wanted see the sights. There was more than enough space for the two of us, from the spacious master bedroom with an amazing view, to the fully stocked kitchen and sitting area. We were outside more than in, either soaking up the sun, relaxing in the pool, or taking the ladder down fight into the ocean. We had planned to take snorkel tours during our visit, but the underwater life right in front of Casa Rojas was varied and spectacular. We had rented a car to take in all the island’s sights, but we were also able to comfortably walk into Centro Cozumel from the house. Carolina was communicative from the day we booked and throughout our stay. Needless to say, Carolina and Casa Rojas made our first visit to Cozumel everything we could have hoped for!

Jeffrey and Mariel are the best host we ever had. Extremely responsive, full of suggestions. House is beautiful and recent, nice furniture same as photos. El Cielo is a quiet gated community 10 minutes drive from downtown PDC. Strongly recommended!

First, I would like to express my gratitude for the level of help Mac gave to, two very old, technically challenged travelers. It was dark and rainy, and we were travel weary. Mac stayed on the phone with us until we reached his amazing Airbnb. I have been renting beach houses for 15 years and this place by far was the most impressive place yet. We had several tours planned, and we truly did not want to leave paradise to explore Tulum, but we did. The area is not only historically and culturally rich, but has everything you can expect from a tropical beach environment. Also, a big thank you to Edwin and his lovely wife who were great neighbors, we only saw them when we needed them ☺️ Jim and Dawn

The house is great for a relaxing time to enjoy the Mexican Caribbean Coast. The bedrooms are spacious with ensuite bathrooms. Be aware like most of regional Mexico, you cannot flush toilet paper. Also the beach is a little rocky at the shore so ensure you bring water shoes to protect your feet. It gets more sandy further out. The water is nice and warm and then the pool is refreshing. We enjoyed the house for cooking some nights both indoors and outside on the BBQ. They have the place well set up with all the cooking implements that you need and some basic items like salt, pepper, oil, some dried herbs & spices, etc. A cleaner comes every day except Sunday. Ensure you have a print out of your stay when you arrive as the entrance to the area requires proof to get in and then they will give you a tag to attach to your car mirror (if you are driving) so you can come and go freely. There is a restaurant about 5 mins walk away as well if you don't want to cook. Enjoy this amazing property!

We had a fantastic stay. There were even beach chairs and umbrellas available in thebhouse for our use. Ashley and Sergio made everything easy. Sergio came by daily to ensure the property stayed clean. He went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Ashley was great with communication and let us check in early. Fernando’s place is clean, central, and exactly like the photos. We loved the rooftop pool and massive hot tub; we went in early April and it was never crowded. The building was always staffed with concierge and we always felt safe. We travelled with an 18m toddler and while the Airbnb is not baby-proof, Fernando was able to accommodate a high chair and crib for a small fee. Having the washer and dryer in unit was very convenient. You can’t drink the tap water but fresh water is provided in those 5 gallon water containers. The kitchen is well stocked and even had a blender and kettle. We loved the supermarket named Selecto just a few steps away on 10th Avenue with fresh seafood, pastries, steaks, and lots more. Overall, we’d highly recommend this Airbnb to other travellers.

This was an amazing stay! We even overheard a couple staying at an all inclusive when we were at a different beach, they did not enjoy that hotel as much as they did at the Residences Reef. Host was very responsive as well. Overall highly recommend!

Marilu and staff (Bryan) were extremely polite and helpful through out our stay. A minor glitch with transportation they arranged and an appliance that needed to be replaced was taken care of promptly which was appreciated. Awesome management of the property in our minds. They also helps organize other activities and when we had leave early for personal reasons Bryan arranged rides at last minute which was amazing and followed up to make sure we were taken care of. Again, really appreciated! Would definitely recommend the property to others. The pool facing the ocean and ocean views from your doors were spectacular! Hope to be back.

Stayed here for a few nights with our family and the location was amazing. Collette’s place is nice and clean. We loved that it had extra towels for our family. We relaxed on the balcony in the morning drinking our coffee. The kids had a great time snorkeling and really enjoyed the pool. Definitely recommend Collette’s place!

Meaghan & Carlos's place have everything you need to feel right at home. The place is spacious, have a great full kitchen, and is private and secluded. We came for a wedding at La Joya, which was minutes from the place. A good recommendation if you come to Playa Paraiso is to rent a car to get around. They were really helpful with info and tips to feel comfortable. Always a quick and helpful response! ... and we even had a maid service!!! Thank you Meaghan & Carlos and the Co-host Estefanía!!!

Easy entry using lockbox and key. Surfaces were clean. Quite a bit of sand still on the floor. I asked not to have the daily maid service and just did the sweeping myself. The kitchen was stocked well. It did have a blender (not listed) and a drip coffee maker. They did provide water. I need a fair amount of storage containers for food (I cut up fruit and salad items) and the Airbnb did not have much of that. Two boogie boards and a large sun umbrella for use. Showers had doors. The water got hot for showers and in the kitchen. This unit was on the second floor, so good for carrying items up if the elevator wasn't working. Balcony and houseplants were lovely. Beds comfortable. AC worked in all spaces. Black out blinds were helpful against morning sun. The pool and entry fountains are lovely. I would stay there again. Walk to Turtle Bay & Taverna was .8 miles. Close to Buena Vida, La Lunita, and Jungle cafe. North end of beach by the place with red umbrellas for easy enter to snorkel.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Casa Coco Bella has everything you could want in a Cozumel vacation home. We enjoyed the pool, the snorkeling out front, and the gym. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful, and Norman was also responsive to any questions we had. The location is great, not too far from town. The condo itself is also very nice and the beds are comfortable. Great views from the patio. We hope to return!
