Monthly Rentals in Aizuwakamatsu

We enjoyed our stay very much. check-in was straight forward with a key box. accommodation has the right balance between a traditional Japanese home shining through and all the modern comfort you need. the building has 3 modern air conditioning/ heating units. the washing machine and dryer are all in Japanese, but of you upload a picture of the console to an AI (like chatGPT), it will tell you what buttons to press. we had lunch at the dining café next door. it has a calm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent food. we stayed for 3 nights with 2 persons and a baby.

I had a incredible stay at Kuniko’s home, Aizu is really refreshing and calm, perfect to relax and slow down. I had the opportunity to help her cook breakfast every morning and have it with her, she helped me to sightsee around the city and even brought me to an Onsen, She was a wonderful host and I highly recommend you to go to her house if you visit Aizu.

Kaori’s home is lovely. It is conveniently located in downtown Aizuwakamatsu. You can walk to restaurants and Tsuruga- jo castle is close. The large family room, where the whole group sleeps in one or two interconnected rooms, is unusual for non-Japanese but works fine. We enjoyed staying here. Thank you Kaori!

I like the place. But I think the bathroom needs a little more privacy. We hanged towels on the curtain rod to give us a little more privacy. There is a washer/drier in the bathroom. Very convenient. Bathroom and kitchen are very modernized. I really like it. Cafe (great review on google too) near by is very good. Please go.
