This cosy and relaxing house is located in a small village in the Allier (03, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes). You will find a bakery, a mini-market, a bar-tabac, a pharmacy, a hotel-restaurant, a local products shop and a brocante. The village borders the Allier River – ideal for canoeing or fishing – and the house is situated on the GR3, the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). No wifi or television, but peace, relaxation and board games to enjoy life in a different way.

The Ramparts

Charming house in the heart of the ramparts of Ainay-le-Château. Warm, quiet and comfortable accommodation, ideal for relaxing and enjoying nature as it is close to the Tronçais forest. In the village you will find all amenities: supermarket, pharmacy, post office, medical center, bakery, PMU tobacco bar, florist etc. Bikes can be stored in the small inner courtyard. Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.
