We truly enjoyed our stay, a perfect location to unwind and immerse yourself in nature. It was a nice surprise to find so many animals: a horse, super cute dogs and a cat. The garden is beautiful, you can walk around, go down to the river, enjoy quietness and pure nature all around. The road to the location is also very nice - like a hidden path through nature. It’s definitely a place to come back to, with an amazing energy. Even two nights restore you fully and feels like you stayed much longer than this. Not to mention a stylish and tastefully decorated house. You can find all you need. Amazing both side terraces - to enjoy a morning sun and a sunset.

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

We have just returned from a week at Rogier's Gordes house, and we are already planning a return for next year! We had booked this property on 3 previous occasions, but each one was cancelled, twice because of Covid, and then because of a family bereavement, - but for each of these, Rogier was understanding and supportive, so we were relieved to finally make it in 2025. It was worth the wait, as the property is simply wonderful! As the photos suggest, this is an extremely spacious and well appointed home, and the reality is even more impressive. Despite the mixed May weather, we took every opportunity to sit on the terrace, enjoying that wonderful panoramic view. Walking around the village, especially the footpaths leading up to the famous viewing point, is a real pleasure, and kept us fit. Returning for an ice cream from the cafe next door was a recurring treat. Thanks too, to Sophie for meeting us at arrival and departure. We hope to see you next year!

Relaxing weekend with family with our two children and our dog, we had a wonderful time. Kristin is a great host, flexible, smiling and with good advice. The place was very peaceful, quiet. The kids loved the ping pong table and enjoyed meeting the donkeys. We did two beautiful hikes, it was very nice to discover the Ardèche in this way. Very clean and extremely well-equipped house. The view is just beautiful. Recommended+++

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Beautiful apartment tastefully decorated and recently renovated (air conditioning in the rooms which adds a real plus) Apartment ideally located in the middle of the countryside and cicadas. The place is truly magical! There is a special energy. The pool is so relaxing that you dont want to leave the chateau. In the morning you will have freshly baked croissants by Alisson! +the fig jam and orange marmolade were so delicious! Alisson and Costas are really the warmest hosts you can imagine. We will come back!

This stay was a real pleasure, from our welcome by Sylvain to our departure, accompanied by Sylvain's mother; sunny people who make you want to come back! The house centralizes everything you need for a peaceful stay: swimming pool, deckchairs, jacuzzi, ping pong table, petanque, super comfortable bedding and conducive to a good sleep, to summarize, you are wonderfully well. The house, while being a few minutes from Barjac, is isolated from any noise or other nuisances, you just hear the little birds that lull us to sleep. In short, we can't wait to come back next year, but for a longer stay: so many pretty villages and activities nearby! You can book without a second thought and without hesitation: you will come back won over. Thanks again to Sylvain, his mom, and our host Michel for this place designed for everyone's well-being.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever been to. The accommodation is beautiful, tastefully decorated and warm. I can only recommend it if you want to discover the Ardèche and stay in a spacious, cozy apartment, where you feel really good. The village of Balazuc is beautiful, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes, we enjoyed it. Mary is a great host, responsive and thanks to her everything was easy and chill.

The apartment is very pleasant to stay in, bright and has been renovated with beautiful quality materials! Spacious and very functional, its terrace perfectly completes the pleasure of staying there. It is in a very good location, and Olivier is particularly friendly, accommodating and cheerful! We would highly recommend!

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful duplex in the heart of the village. The very tasteful decoration is really beautiful!! The apartment is quiet, relaxing and impeccably clean. It is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and a large kitchen. Linens and towels were provided and cleaning was included. We highly recommend this listing. ❤️

We had a great time with our baby and dog. Serge is welcoming and responsive. The accommodation is peaceful, not overlooked, spacious, well-equipped and we can park right in front of the front door which is nice.

A great stay in a functional and very pleasant accommodation (including the terrace surrounded by greenery) which is close to all amenities. Virginie and Marie-Pierre were very welcoming and responsive even for our cat Vicky! You can feel at home to enjoy the Ardèche:)

We had a fantastic time at the villa. The location is unbeatable – only a minute's walk to the perfect river beach, ideal for children. The cleanliness was great, everything was super well maintained and hygienically prepared, even for our baby. The highlight was definitely the game ground floor: a complete floor full of toys for all ages – our toddler was thrilled, and even we adults had fun. Perfect for four people – spacious, child-friendly, quiet, with river views and at the same time close to everything important. Absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!
