Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Agios Dimitrios

This place was a nice respite after our long sightseeing days. I could definitely spend an extended time here. There was a very nice outdoor space to enjoy and the inside had everything we needed. There were nice treats and snacks left for us in arrival that saved us having to go out and get anything when we arrived. We really appreciated the time in this place. The only thing to be aware of is you must be able to do stairs for entry. They are wide and sturdy though. It’s a lovely staircase. Overall a pleasant stay. Wish we had more time to sit and enjoy the atmosphere but we were trying to get all the sights in. We were just a brief cab ride from all the most popular sites. Thank you!

Clean and very cool house, quiet neighborhood, I highly recommend it!

This is a unique place with a lot of history. The kitchen cute and spacious. The porch is the best part of the house. We saw sunrise and sunset. Beautiful. I love the view from the bedroom. The hospitality made our stay easy and fun. Panos helped us get drivers and gave us directions and restaurant reviews.

We LOVED our stay here. It was the perfect location in Athens, in a clean safe neighborhood near the acropolis. But away from the tourist hustle and bustle. We saw many locals eating and hanging out near the restaurants by the house. The home itself was perfect for our large family. Beds were comfortable and clean, great area for kids and teens to love around. We loved the design and style. Felt very safe with doors/locks. Does not have a dryer but we used the drying racks outside. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Nikos and Georgia were so nice and they stayed up late waiting for us to get in. Which I was most grateful for as the location wasnt as easy to find. I lived that they were proactive and shared that others have had trouble in the past and gave me the step by step instructions on how to locate their beautiful home. Although it felt pretty remote, navigating to the city center was pretty easy. I loved the welcome basket and the complete tour of the home. I truly appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was, especially having been in the city center the whole day. It was literally a breath of fresh air. I would LOVE to stay there again if they would have us.

We had a great experience at Maria’s place. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was AMAZING. Great communication on the front end and extremely accommodating on the back end including us to check out a little later than the normal check out time. This was greatly appreciated! We were welcomed with a friendly smile and offer to help us with our luggage. The description was accurate regarding the stairs. There are many many stairs and if it was kind of Maria to offer to take our bags up. The home was so beautiful with a spectacular view. We appreciated the welcome basket of goodies. I recommend to definitely get a car. There’s an affordable place very close by. There are only two restaurants near by and you have to walk a mile up and down steep hills to get there. The car makes it easier and you can drive to Porto Rafti. Second, get a translator app for your phone-instructions for appliances are in Greek (washer and dryer). Lastly, the ac in the room worked great.

Location, location, location. 1/2 block from the main square. It’s very busy but you can walk to everything. View from balcony of the Acropolis is from the side but it’s still great. We walked in different directions every day. Many, many restaurants, taverns everywhere. Check out the rooftop restaurant right on the corner. You enter the elevators right near the subway. Worth the stop. If you’re up to it, walk a number of blocks away from the main tourist areas or grab the subway (right next door)to find restaurants with better bang for the buck. We took the subway out when we left, super easy to do even with luggage and straight to the airport. The host was very helpful and very responsive.

Clean and neat place. Staircase was a challenge due to the staircase narrowing when getting to the top floor. No lift so my husband had to help with everyone bags. Grocery store right across the road which is handy and a 10 - 15 minute walk to the hop-on hop off bus.

Aggeliki by far is the best host out of all the people I have rented from on Airbnb. She is very friendly, very helpful, always keen to help. Place was amazing and she is very responsive. She also like to recommend restaurants, places to visit, etc… I was also travelling to Naxos and she was already proactive with providing me with her favourite restaurants and beaches there. Her place is also very cosy, has a great atmosphere I believe that’s because it is their own house in which the rent every now and then. In short, great host that gives me even extra motivation to come to Athens!

Such a beautiful Airbnb. Best part is the hot tub actually gets hot, not just lukewarm (which i’ve noticed a lot of other hot tubs in Greece are only lukewarm) so that was a plus. Very modern setup and the view was great. Unfortunately I was very sick during my stay, but Jeff and Katerina were so nice and responsive and even helped us get a taxi to the ER, and checked in on us throughout the day. Truly such great hospitality and we are so appreciative for all of the help that they provided for us. Any question we had they responded to us right away with such helpful advice. Thank you so much for everything ♥️♥️

6 of us we stayed in this apartment from 13/05/25 to 17/05/25. The place was beautiful and very clean, with excellent communication from the host — they responded to any questions within 10 minutes. The apartment is located right next to the beach, offering a stunning view. The only downsides were the weather during our stay and some noise from the road next to the building, but overall, I highly recommend this place. If I ever return to Athens, I will definitely choose this apartment again. Best regards to the hosts!

Kyriakos is an amazing host! He came as we we were getting settled and introduced himself to every single member of our group of 10. This 6 bedroom home is beautiful and very spacious with breathtaking views, a swimming pool, and an open floor plan on the lower level with a gorgeous kitchen. Bonus, there is an elevator and we had 3 people in our group over 70 who truly enjoyed using it to get to the 3rd level where the bedrooms are (honestly everyone's used it). Kyriakos assisted me with a transportation company that could accommodate our group size (two vans) & were always on time & very professional. He had food menus and suggestions available for our use and there is a grocery store that is about a 15 min walk or a 5 mins drive. Its about 30-35 mins outside Athens city center & you'll peace & privacy on these beautiful, well maintained grounds. This was our favorite property of the 3 we had during our 2 week stay in Greece. Very clean accommodation and flexible arrival time. Very much appreciated!! Away from the main neighborhoods but easy to access with public transport.

Host always responded and was very helpful with on-time and affordable transportation from airport and to cruise port and back to airport. We had 7 people with 14 pieces of luggage. 7 minute walk to great restaurants. Would definitely recommend them.

Loved our stay in Alimos. Plenty of space and really felt like home. Could stay there for months. Very close to the beach with bakery, coffee, restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes walk. Highly recommended! Thank you Konstantinos.

We stayed 3 nights at the villa. The host was more than friendly, we communicated all the time and the responses were very fast. The place was amazing, absolutely same like the photos. We received full support with information for restaurants, restaurants what to do in our free time, even when we had problems booking restaurant the host went personally and booked a table for us. Also helped us with giving us contact of person who makes shuttles to Athens and the area. If we go to Athens again for sure will book the same place. The whole experience was 10/10! We had such a wonderful time. Ayapi's place was beautiful with incredible views and the swimming pool was amazing. The facilities were superb and we had the best time. Ayapi was incredibly kind and welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. We really couldn't have asked for more. We would highly recommend Agapi's place and were so sad to leave. We definitely hope to return here one day.
