My house lies in the heart of Chania in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood just 800 m. away from the Old Town and only 15 min walk from the nearest sandy beach. An ideal spot for friends or couples to discover real Crete. The apartment is on the second floor of a family building and has been recently fully renovated in creative and effortless way. My apt is next door so if I am not traveling, we will be neighbors and will try to offer a high quality hospitality by letting you know about local festivals, hidden gems and favorite spots :-) The apartment is in the center of the city – only a short walk from the Old Town – but away from the crowded tourist area. The closest beach is 800 m.away. Bakery, super market and pharmacy are all within walking distance. Every Wednesday there is an open-air farmers' market in the neighborhood. We recently installed an optical fiber based network, so that you can work remotely reliably with stability and internet speed of 100 Mbps. The central bus station is only 5 mins walk, so the access to the airport, as well as all beaches and villages is very very easy. The Old Port is just a 15 min walk. If you still decide to rent a car, parking will not be a problem around the area! This is a smoking free apt. Please enjoy your cigarette on the balcony !

She was extremely responsive and helpful and pointed us to all of the best beaches and restaurants. We felt very comfortable here! The location is perfect, by car you can easily get to many great beaches without having to drive extremely far. The room was as described, it was totally clean and was even cleaned once during our stay. The view was totally beautiful and having breakfast on the balcony was simply awesome! I have to give a small deduction, because the bed is quite small and the apartment is also very noisy... unfortunately you can hear all the sounds from outside and also from the neighbors... Thank God we were lucky that we had quiet neighbors, but if families with children live next door, it could be a little louder. Nevertheless, we were completely satisfied, the host is super friendly and gave us great recommendations! We would come back 🥹🥰

100% recommended place to stay if you’re visiting Chania. The view of the harbor from the balcony is definitely worth it - there were few days where we opted to just buy local fruits/cheeses and chill at the balcony as it beats many of the views offered from the bars around town. The host is really friendly and responsive, which was a huge help especially when arriving to the place as the old town of Chania is tricky to navigate. Complimentary laundry services were definitely a huge plus if you’re staying for a while as you’ll run through clothes quickly due to number of activities you can do here. Pro tip: I don’t know how often they do it but on the morning of first Saturday of June there was a local grocery bazaar event that was located about 7-min walking distance from the airbnb, where you can buy bunch of local goods from all over the area. We unfortunately missed it but would recommend that you time your travel around it as parking can get pretty nuts during that time.

Worth every single penny, the place is beautiful, very cozy, decorated with taste and super clean, loads of storage and it has all the amenities you could think of. You also have a Cleaner coming during the week and she even gave us fresh towels! Definitely a bonus point ☺️ Quiet area but in just 2 minute you can go for a swim or dine in one of the beautiful restaurant and bars along the coat. The highlight of the week, on top of the beautiful Crete, was definitely Iryna😍 She is, and by far, the most amazing host you will ever come across!! She welcomed us at 1am, with a giant smile on her face, gave us a tour of her home, gave us a lot of recommendations, she even organised us a taxi for the airport on the way back and so much more❤️ she really goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Don’t look any further, this is the place to go for your next holiday!!!! Will defo be back if we come back to Chania. Thank you so much again Iryna❤️❤️❤️
