Harrys’ villa was excellent. The place was beautiful and very clean. There is a great view with a pool that comes right up to the edge of the villa. The air conditioning was strong (great for me and my wife because we like it cold at night). What really stood out was Harrys himself though. He is a wonderful, responsive host. He was there to check us in and brought us US wall adapters for our electronics. When my wife needed to do her hair, he brought over a straightener for us. He gave us a dinner recommendation to Prosilio’s (recommend!) and called the owner to let him know we were coming. When we got there, the owner greeted us and offered us a free dessert on the house. Harrys really made our stay incredible and demonstrated that famous Greek hospitality. 10/10 would recommend and will likely go again.

This might be the most beautiful view in all of Zakynthos! Really. What a beautiful location to relax. The place is impeccable - beautiful and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Die Bewertungen hatten es angedeutet, die Realität war noch viel schöner. Dionisys ist ein absolut hingebungsvoller Gastgeber, der immer da war, wenn er gebraucht wurde. Sympathisch und ruhig gab es für alles eine Lösung: Wasser war ausgefallen - es gab eine hauseigene Zisterne, Strom war weg - schwupps hat er es gefixt. Eine Tour durch seine eigenen Olivenhaine hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und einiges an Wissen um die lokalen Bräuche und Sitten gebracht. Das Haus ist ein Träumchen. Ruhig im kleinen, beschaulichen Agalas gelegen, bot es Geborgenheit und Zuflucht. Die Terrasse unter Weinreben war ein Paradies, in dem die Beeren förmlich in den Mund geflogen sind. Auch sonst gibt es in der Umgebung von Mandeln über Zitronen, Granatäpfeln und Feigen viel zu entdecken und pflücken. Die Insel selbst ist - abseits der Touristenschwärme - ruhig und vielfältig. Es war mein erster Urlaub in einem Airbnb und wird nicht mein letzter gewesen sein - wahrscheinlich wieder bei Dionisys.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Man hat so viel Privatsphäre, nur Natur und das Meer. Wir haben uns so gut erholt und den Ausblick aufs Meer von der Terasse und selbst vom Bett aus sehr genossen. Man schläft ein und wacht auf mit dem Rauschen der Wellen. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. In ein paar Minuten kann man mit dem Auto einige Tavernen/Restaurants erreichen. Der eigene Zugang zum Meer ist perfekt und das Wasser herrlich klar. Es war ein super entspannter Aufenthalt. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

We (a family of four) had a fantastic time at the villa. Beautiful house, stunning sunsets, clean and comfortable in every way. Highly recommended. Two great restaurants in walking distance but everything else requires a car. But then again I would not visit Zakynthos without renting a car, some driving needed to visit all the amazing spots on the island. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Cleaning services available upon request, pool cleaned every morning. I can highly recommend this villa.

Abbiamo trascorso 7 notti in questa casa vacanze molto accogliente, pulitissima e curata. Host gentilissimo e molto disponibile per ogni esigenza e reattivo in caso di bisogno. Dintorni stupendi ma bisogna tenere conto della necessità di un mezzo di trasporto (facilmente reperibili) perché la casa si trova in un paesino distante (non troppo) dai posti da visitare. Inoltre molto gentilmente l’host ci ha aiutati a prenotare un noleggio scooter conveniente! Consiglio caldamente!!

The villa has everything you need and more, the views, pool and privacy are great. The host is friendly and very responsive and made is feel at home. We would recommend this villa to couples and families who are looking for a quite stay near villages, restaurants etc.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm of the local village. It was refreshing to be away from the usual tourist traps and truly immerse ourselves in the local culture. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere that allowed us to unwind completely. We were delighted to find that it was just a short trip away from beautiful beaches, fabulous restaurants, and exciting local attractions (minutes by car) . Our children, aged five and nine, had an absolute ball! They especially loved feeding the animals, which added an extra layer of magic to our stay. The WindMill House is truly a hidden gem. The combination of its idyllic country setting, the exceptional hospitality of our host make it an unbeatable choice for anyone seeking good value and a relaxed, authentic stay.
