PLEASE NOTE THERE`S A CAT living in the cottage (she's an INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT) and it might not be suitable for those who are allergic or don't like cats. The cottage is relatively secluded in a rural environment with farms, animals and all that comes with it.

Waterfall Life: immersed in secluded nature

A converted stone watermill at the bottom of a small valley, between two waterfalls. Walking in, you half-expect to have stepped back a century. The sound doesn't stop—it follows you to sleep and is the first thing you hear in the morning. You leave the car on an old bridge above and walk down a short rustic path; below it, the property opens up. Two villages and a small market sit a hundred meters back, reminding you civilization is still out there—but down here you're in your own world.

Enjoy spectacular views in this newly built house! 180˚sea view & 180˚mountain view (volcano mountains Lagoa do Fogo & Sete Cidades and the natural reserve Pinhal da Paz) We are renting our own modern spacious home while on vacation. It's set on a land of 7000m2, surrounded only by fields. Yet located very central on the island. 1km to golf course & supermarket, 10min drive to beach, 15min to airport & Ponta Delgada . Big house with 1 suite, 3 bed rooms, 3 WC (one for the suite, 1 shared for the 3 bed rooms and 1 common), there is also a kitchen, living room and swimming pool outside. It's located on the center of S. Miguel Island, near "everything". Great house for familys and groups. We're making constant improvements and we are remodeling all the surrounding space of the house to provide better contact with nature and plants.
