If you are looking for a quiet slice of island life you can't do better than staying at Faidon's House. Located in a quiet pocket of Aegina away from the hustle of the port area, Faidon's House is a real treat. Numerous tavernas operated by some true characters are within a short walk as are several beach bars to while away the hours staring out at the beautiful horizon of glistening blue sea and stunning island vistas. Alkis is a superb host, responding immediately to any questions we had during our stay as well as sending over some recommendations for places to visit beforehand.

David was a brilliant host. Extremely helpful and responsive. Can't recommend the place enough, beautiful location and views.

We had wonderful days in a very nice house with absolutely great location in terms of the view. You have to know that it is a bit off the beaten track in the mountains and therefore means a bit of driving. But in addition to the very cozy house equipped with really everything, the great outdoor area with wonderful terraces and dining areas, magnificent pool and beautiful garden are worth every kilometer. The pictures and descriptions correspond to reality, only the two bedrooms in the Soutarrain were not quite described realistically. The support from Rena was more than exceptional, she was always incredibly friendly and helpful. I would fully recommend the house. Eva Ollertz

I was a little nervous looking at the pictures of Dimitris' place that it was too good to be true - but no! The place was absolutely gorgeous, the salt-water pool lovely and refreshing. We had 10 with us and all fit comfortably. The kitchen is on the small side so you can only have a couple of people in there at once, but that's all you need. The ocean is just across the street from the home, the views of sunrise and sunset from the rooftop are breathtaking. We had some trouble with the grill, but someone came and fixed it the next day. Dimitris' father met us at the home for check in to show us around the place and after that it was easy to get in and out. We rented cars at the port and it was a quick 7 minute drive to the Villa from there. Aegina was *gorgeous* and perfect for our family (all adults) to relax, do some sight seeing, exploring, swimming, and enjoy each other's company.

Amazing views, great pool and very helpful host!

A pretty, peaceful, private garden apartment with a spectacular view of the bright blue water and nearby islands. The house sits at the end of the road, and this little studio and connected garden face the hill and sea with no houses beyond, so it feels secluded but not isolated. Comfortable lounge seating inside, in the garden, and by the pool. The pool is shared but I was usually alone. All outdoor areas come with spectacular views! A clean and useful little kitchen with a clothes washer. AC works great. Also a ceiling fan. Thoughtfully decorated. 10 minute walk to grocery stores restaurants, clothing shops, bakery, seaside bar/restaurants with cabana sunbeds. A local hike to a temple with a 360 degree view of the island and sea. Extremely accommodating and responsive hosts. They picked me up from the ferry and when I mentioned my bed was a little too firm for me they found me a mattress topper to make it perfect! They live on site but were very respectful of my space. An oasis!

We had a wonderful family stay at this villa (with 2 kids aged 13 & 11). The absolute best part was the scenery/setting, it was perfect and just what we had hoped for on a peaceful, relaxing holiday! I don’t think I would ever get bored of the views from the villa and pool, we didn’t want to leave! Agia Marina itself was a lovely little town/beach resort. The locals were very friendly & it is only a 10 minute, easy walk to get there! Lots of lovely restaurants and bars - I would definitely love to return one day. I can’t fault anything about our stay, the villa was very clean and spacious with a terrace area overlooking the pool and sea. The hosts were responsive, informative, friendly & helpful. I would recommend this Accomodation to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday close to all the local amenities. It’s also worth noting that you can get a 10 min bus ride from the town up to the Temple of Aphaia & then there is a 40-45 min walk back to the villa which we really enjoyed X

A beautiful escape. So thoughtfully designed. It is romantic and also perfect for families. I hope we can come again and stay much longer. What a dream!

We spent 3 days at this place that we truly enjoyed, we had everything for a relaxing holiday. The house is cozy and comfortable, both our children and we loved it very much. The cute teenage cats were a big extra, our kids played with them all the day :) The area in early October was very quiet that we also liked a lot. For families, I think a car is necessary to discover the island from this spot, but you also have things in walking distance: beach, supermarket, restaurant, etc. Konstantinos was welcoming and friendly, thanks for everything!

This place was perfect for our needs. a few minutes walk into town while being peaceful and secluded. it felt very homely. not like a typical sterile Airb&b. plenty of room outside for the kids to run around. the bathrooms looked a little tired and do with a face-lift. other than that, very nice

It’s has amazing view, great sea breeze, across of a church, makes a great getaway. One thing is to be careful of which the host has already put is the mosquito repellents, it’s very effective at night , but outside of the house you might get 1 or 2bites. Also the host has been very accommodating, especially there was a strike for the boats ahead and was clashing with our schedule, and the host was able to play around the schedule to accommodate us. Thank you very much again !

Absolutely beautiful stone cottage in the middle of the most beautiful village up in the hills. Truly a very special place. Perfect to explore Aegina - under 30 min to anywhere on the island. How is clean and comfortable and beautiful and has everything you need. Alexander is responsive and very helpful. We never wanted to leave.

We have had a wonderful time at this big house with a wonderful veranda & shared swimming pool. The sea is literally in front of it so you can choose where you want to go for a swim. The house is very well equipped. I particularly appreciated the communication with Alexia; she really took well care of us.

This place is beautiful. It has a beautiful view of the waters. The location is close to a grocery store, gas station and restaurants. It’s very private. It has lots of Space and most of the rooms have balconies to enjoy your views and coffee in the morning. The host and hostess are very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to have a peaceful stay. I recommend this place to large families or groups of people who are looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful views.

We had the most amazing holiday. Balcony with view to the sea, beautiful sunsets, dolphins, choice between swimming in the sea(no beach) and swimming in the pool with sea water, beautiful decorated room, very good oven and kitchen essentials. 2 supermarkets and 2 bakeries 5 minutes walking distance with really good quality products: olives, feta cheese, goat’s milk yogurt, bougaza, nice fruits and vegetables. The village and restaurants are in 10 minutes walking distance( O Miltos has amazing food, especially the grilled fagri fish). We wanted a restful holiday, to enjoy the sea, the sun and the good food and Ilioperato was the perfect place for us. Our host, Kiria Rena, was so kind and helpful, made us feel so welcomed. Everything was exceptional at Giorgos’s place. We found what we were looking for, i.e. a great place to stay with amenities to relax and energise. We really enjoyed a week at Sofias house. The other house Sofia has was not rented, so we had the whole place alone. The view from the apartment is really amazing. You can watch the sunrise from one balcony and see the sunset from the other balcony. The pool area is really nice and clean. Will be happy to recommend Sofias house at any time.
