I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Azzurras house is close to the center in an interesting neighborhood. The apartment is stylish decorated and has everything you need. You can enjoy a small terasse and have breakfast in the sun. Azzurra was always available and willing to help in any respect. Thank you!

The Airbnb was great. Sicily was beautiful and the views of Etna were incredible.

Claudia is a superkind and very helpful host, she’s ready to answer all the questions always very fast. She came to the train station to meet us and showed us the town. We are very grateful and thank you again! The apartment is amazing, we felt like at home. It is a seaside flat, and has a balcony with sea view and with a beautiful flowering tree in front of it. We spent 5 days in Nizza in october, it’s a calm small town, it was definitely not crowded by tourists, the beach, the sea and the weather were all great. You have everything you need (bakery, café, shop) in walk distance. Nizza is a good startpoint to visit other towns nearby, as it has train and bus stops. Highly recommended!

The place is exactly as described, everything new and well cared for, snacks and drinks are provided, as well as soaps and soaps. We were made to find a camping bed and high chair as we requested, nothing was really missing. Slightly "outside" the center but we reached everything very comfortably on foot. Directions were quick and accurate. We definitely recommend it.

We (two couples) were on our 11th day of travel and had spent the day hiking on Mt Etna and were tired, so it was nice to find a place so convenient that also had private parking. When we arrived we weren't certain of the precise location so Rosanna met us on the street side and showed us the proper entrance to park the car which was a gated and secure parking area. Wow!. There was also a luggage cart to help us get our luggage into the building. And then only one flight of stairs up to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped with all the basics and we really appreciated the snacks and Nutella, and my husband loved the ice cream treat - a very pleasant and thoughtful surprise after a long long day. We had heard of a great restaurant nearby but found the apartment so relaxing that we stayed in and finished some of our travel food (and wine). Overall, for us, it was a perfect overnight location. Definitely recommend.

Highlights • Excellent central location near the fish market, restaurants, and nightlife. • Clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment, very comfortable beds, hot water will run out if you have consecutive showers of three or more. • Livio is an outstanding host who provided helpful recommendations and support throughout the stay. He followed up and checked in regularly to make certain we were comfortable. Considerations • Nightlife noise between 12-4 AM may disturb light sleepers. • Limited bathroom counter space for six guests (manageable but worth noting). • Parking is challenging through out Catania so this was a minor thing considering: a shared, uncovered patio about 800 meters away is available, but it requires precise maneuvering (parking with the back bumper against the wall). A Peugeot 5008 can fit, but a minivan would be too large. Overall Excellent stay. We strongly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful place! The apartment is very large and spacious. Great layout of the rooms. The balconies are a dream. Great host. The place is easy to reach and a perfect starting point for great excursions in the area. We will be happy to come back.

The big plus for the accommodation was Tato who made contact with us and arranged to meet us at the apartment. Tato made us feel welcome and showed us around the apartment which was presented with a number of items (bottled water, tea, coffee, milk etc). Tato was available to assist as required and provided useful information about the local area. The apartment was as advertised. The location of the apartment was convenient for the main bus station (we did a few day trips to Palermo, Syracuse and Taormina). The apartment location was also convenient for local travel by Alibus from/back to the airport. We also were able to access all of the main tourist attractions in Catania by walking from the apartment. I would be happy to stay at the apartment again.

The apartment, or rather a huge apartment, is impressive, clean, tidy, quiet neighborhood and this view from the terrace to the sea and Etna is impressive. A good starting point for exploring Catania and the east coast of Sicily. The only thing missing was a dishwasher in the kitchen, although this does not affect the positive assessment of the apartment and the host in any way, I recommend it with a clear conscience.

Elisa’s place was great! The location is perfect just down the hill from Taormina, it is an easy walk up to the parking garage which takes you right up to Corso Umberto. Place was perfect and just as described. Restaurant above was fantastic and the views are unbeatable. Oh and the shower water pressure was amazing. Noise above due to the restaurant till about 11:30pm but it wasn’t a problem for us. Would stay again!

We stayed at B&B Villa Giorgia for three nights and had a truly memorable experience. Mrs. Pina was a gracious and attentive host, offering helpful tips for exploring Taormina during the Easter season. The property itself is beautiful, with an eclectic charm and artistic touches throughout. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of Mount Etna—we were fortunate to witness a volcanic eruption during our stay, which made it even more special. Each morning, we were served a delightful breakfast featuring local produce, and the espresso was exceptional. The atmosphere was calm, homely, and serene, making it an ideal place to unwind. Our room was cleaned daily, which added to the overall comfort and care provided. We highly recommend Villa Giorgia for anyone looking for a unique and welcoming stay in Taormina.

It's a nice place with an amazing view. We had a bit hard connection during check in, because women talk only in Italian and it is hard to understand, but it is okay. The room is really good. Etna's view is incredible! Breakfast was so sweet but tasty and good. Thank you 😊

Our stay in Catania was gorgeous. The apartment is in an old baroque palace. It has a great location, just 200 meters from Piazza del Duomo, so you can easily and safely go the old town even during the evening/night. Our host was very responsive. It is really worth staying at that place.

Giusy and her family were amazing! I love the location of the peaceful and quiet surrounding. Very easy to reach and safe by car. Giusy gave us a very warm welcome and kind introduction. Home feeling of stay there with a pretty skylight garden featuring air-con. We love the homemade cake served by her. It was our birthday road trip. There are lots of nice restaurant and easy to reach to the volcano tour. Everything is perfect. Even we received daily suggestion of attractions from her. We had a very nice stay for 3 days. The stay with Sara was simply beautiful, the accommodation is quietly located, you have absolute privacy and can quickly reach the surrounding cities by car. Sara is very friendly, prepared a great breakfast for us every day, we felt so comfortable. 100% recommendation!
