Chalet vacation rentals in Adirondack Mountains

It was nice staying at this Chalet. It felt home, cozy, serene and very private. Eventhough there are lots of cameras around the property but we felt safe for that. I didn't find the cameras are hampering our privacy. Only concern is you need to climb to the ladder to get into the Common Space two. So if you are big group of people then I would say that place is good for any teen boys or girls or who is athletic to climb up and down to the common space. We didn't need to use that area since we were a small group of people and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home, beautiful location. We loved the space, it is right next to the river in an amazing location surrounded by nature. Mark was super helpful, responsive and felxible. The house is super cozy and had everything we needed. Very convenient, welcoming and homey. We look forward to coming back!

This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

Second time staying and it was better than the first time. Totally recommend and will definitely be going back for our annual ski trip. If it’s available of course!

Sierra is extremely responsive, understands the ski mentality and very considerate of our group. Thank you so much, we enjoyed spending quality time by the fireplace and of course the super close by Mad River Glen access!!!!!!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Great location! This was a two family trip up to Mt Snow. We had a wide range of ages and 2 dogs. The house had plenty of toys and things for the kids to do - their favorite was the scavenger hunt! The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens compared to other Airbnbs we have used. The beds were comfortable - plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The couch and chairs in the living area were also very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice and enjoyable after everyone went skiing.

This was our second time staying with Julie. Julie communicates well and the place is cozy and clean. We love the location in Keene and access to Lake Placid and Whiteface! We hope to stay with Julie again!

We had an absolutely magical time at Mary Jane's! From the spacious hot tub with comfy robes, the fire pit, well stocked game closet and a whole game room downstairs with pool/ping pong/darts/PacMan, while being surrounded by the beautiful Adirondacks for great hikes and adventures, we were never at a lost of what to do! The layout, amenities and location of the chalet were perfect for two families to unplug and be present with each other. The rooms were super cozy and the bunk bed rooms were the highlight for the kids. The separate cabin in the back also was a huge hit! Mary Jane was the best host, very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to make this a comfortable stay. We can't wait to come back in the winter months for skiing!

This house was a really special find. It is very thoughtfully designed and feels comfortable and clean. Extra special touches like the record player, shuffleboard, and giant kids' bunk room make it unique. We loved roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit, checking the little creek for frog's eggs, and cooking in the spacious kitchen. Host communication was thorough and easy too. Great find!

We love this place. We had such a great experience last year that we had to come back. The house has everything you need to have a good time. The living room is so big that you can have a large group and not feel on top of each other. There's a pool table, foosball table and a hot tub, What else do you need! I definitely would recommend this house. Thanks again Dave for an awesome time. We are looking forward to next year!!

Doe-A-Deer was absolutely beautiful, we had a group of 11 that visited for our yearly ski trip for an extended weekend. The house was peaceful, clean, and modern. Only 20 minutes from whiteface mountain. Nice amenities and we loved the fireplace! Would love to stay here again, thanks again!

Family had a great stay at Danielle and Ben’s the house was very clean and kid friendly and we really enjoyed having the view of the creek from decking area. Very close to Mt Snow and surrounding area restaurants and attractions. Would stay again.

Beautiful and peaceful place. Lots of room to hang out, inside and outside. It was nice that the kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, mugs, dishes, utensils, and things for cooking, as well as some other basics like spices and coffee filters. Tina and Greg were very responsive. Everyone loved it!

The house was fantastic. Great condition, cool layout! There was a ton of snow, and the property was well plowed, shoveled and sanded!

So hyggelig! Hygge House is 100% what it promises. Wonderful, peaceful place to escape the busy life for a few days and relax in a beautiful house in a beautiful forest. Hot tub, sauna, cosy house, surrounded by nature. Near all activities of Stratton area. We even got five inches of new snow making it winter wonderland in April.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kelly’s gorgeous home. It was extremely an extremely wonderful trip that went seamlessly. The house was exactly as described. In fact it was even better perfectly located across the street from the lake with a gorgeous view. The beds were super comfy and it felt like home. Our host was more than responsive. She was helpful kind of accommodating and went above and beyond. Thank you very much Kelly for such a beautiful getaway with my son.

We had a beautiful stay at Armand & Karina’s home. The space was lovely, comfortable, and serene. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some! We were a family of 6 - my parents, my husband and I and our kids - and we all truly felt at home. We loved it so much that we are hoping to return again this summer! Highly recommend!

We had a great time at the Chalet, and all the extra touches were appreciated. Plenty of towels, available firewood, kcups for coffee and many other extra touches. We did a lot of cooking, and kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Great location. When not enjoying Lake Sacandaga, Saratoga and Lake George are also close by to visit. We would definitely stay here again!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La situation du logement au bord du lac est vraiment très agréable. La vue est très jolie, le quartier est très calme. Nous y avons trouvé tout ce que nous avions besoin.

la vue est tellement belle et relaxante. le chalet est coquet et tu te sens comme chez toi. Je recommande.. Le seul petit point,; il manque de coupe à vin😁 j'y retournerais sans hésiter.. merci pour ce beau petit coin de paradis.

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

Annick was an amazing host to have! We asked for early check in, and she was able to accommodate us. She was very responsive and answered all questions we had. The hot tub stopped working during our stay and Annick and her brother were prompt to help and come repair. Our stay was amazing and would be back.

Michael & Isabelle’s house and property are nothing short of magical. This is our second time staying here with our dogs, and we absolutely love it! The house is huge and comfortable with all amenities needed for cooking. There are indoor and outdoor fire places. The house overlooks a beautiful lake and is surrounded by stunning pine forest. There are a number of private, several mile long walks where we comfortably let our dogs off leash. We stargazed and watched beavers/river otters on the lake, accompanied by the sound of the nearby creek. It’s the type of peaceful retreat that feeds our souls and makes us never want to leave. Can’t recommend highly enough!
