Barn vacation rentals in Adirondack Mountains

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

My husband and I had such an amazing stay! We took advantages of as many things as we could in the area while we were there and loved our little home away from home (Glamp Thomas.) This was the first of many times glamping for us! Thank you to our wonderful hosts. We will be back with our family.

We had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to come again! Not only did we have so much fun snowmobiling and skiing, but also had a warm, cozy place to come back to after our activities. Eleanor is responsive and a very good communicator. She has thought of every detail and even keeps a fully stocked medicine cabinet!

We loved our stay! The carriage house was clean, charming, and comfortable. It came with everything we needed. Leslie was very responsive and quick to get back to us. She was very thoughtful and accommodating - she asked for our milk and beverage preferences before our arrival and stocked the fridge with our requests! The location is easy access to downtown - very walkable! We would stay here again. Thank you, Leslie!!!!

We had a great time at the yurt. Would definitely stay again. The view is gorgeous and the yurt is so cozy.

Dan’s place is wonderful for a quiet, romantic getaway. We loved the deck and the big green space to walk our dog. The apartment was spotless and smelled clean. Dan was very responsive and helpful. My wife and I are hoping to come back someday!

Our party of four adults and two small kids really enjoyed our weekend in this unique and tastefully renovated former barn. The linens, bedding, and towels were all top quality, the kitchen was well equipped, and overall the place was comfortable and spotless. The location is super private and quiet, surrounded by nature and farmland, including an on-site stream and sheep (that's not a typo). A great spot to stay for a visit to the northern Berkshires - Mt. Greylock and Mass MoCA are very nearby. Our visit was on a frigid winter weekend with a ton of snow and outside temps in the 20s, yet our indoor temps were toasty and very comfortable, especially with the wood stove.

Our stay was lovely! We liked the privacy and the view of the VT landscape was beautiful! It had all of the amenities we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. Heather and Peter were accommodating of our late check-in and helpful and kind!

We absolutely loved our stay. The space was perfect for our holiday get away, and we loved all the amenities. The place was spotless and very well taken care of. We hope to make this our regular spot to stay when we are in the area. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting and close to Cooperstown. Kitchen was outfitted with everything you need for an extended stay or comfortable getaway. Bring food and enjoy a night inside the cozy renovated barn. We were at home and hated to leave.

Chris's place is really nice with a beautiful environment. We felt very good as a family celebrating Christmas there. Chris is very responsive and always ready to help

Dana’s place was perfect for our 2 night stay… cozy & comfortable room in a quiet & picturesque rural location, yet with convenient proximity to Cooperstown attractions. And loved the little window in our room looking into the stables and out to the horse pasture! Highly recommend!!

The guest house is very compact. The kitchen has a toaster oven. Very nice assortment of breakfast cereals and local organic products. French press coffee makers and lots of different teas. The bed is in the loft and is like a large pillow. Bathroom in on the ground floor. There is a clothes washer. The whole place is cozy and just right for two people. Very quiet a night. It is about 4 miles into town.

3 generation family stayed in comfort, enjoyed using the kitchen and the living room. Driveway was plowed on a snowy day, heating was fine. Right off highway about 15 min from Cooperstown (good cafes).

We had a fantastic time and the house was lovely! WE would 100% stay with Yvonne again. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Jane and Fred’s place far exceeded our expectations. This charming, well appointed home is surrounded by green pastures. We really enjoyed hiking to a few beautiful waterfalls and found the location to be remote, yet not far from big towns like Killington and Rutland. Jane and Fred were great hosts and responded quickly to any questions. We hope to visit again. Tracy, Joe & our pup Lucky. 🍀

Journey and Greg’s place was just what we hoped for! It was clean, the bed was super comfy, and it was a great location (close to lots of restaurants in Winooski) for our long weekend trip. The sauna was also lovely. Overall great stay - highly recommend!

The Barn looks even better than the pictures and is the perfect escape into the wilderness. My friends and I had a great time! The wood stove was perfect and we love the outdoor fire as well to roast marshmallows. The place was absolutely immaculate and was very warm. Sherry was super communicative and always checked in with me to make sure we were having a good time. I’d 100% stay here again!

We had an excellent stay at the Big Green Barn! Super cozy space located in the charming Manchester community. Plenty of space for two couples. We especially loved the unique artwork. 28 minute drive to Stratton Mountain. Could not have asked for a better long weekend getaway.

We had a great stay! Dana was a friendly and responsive host and the barn was exactly as described. We appreciated being in town and having such easy access to the mountain. Beds and couches were very comfortable and that means a lot after a day on the mountain. We'd certainly return.

I really enjoyed my time at Mark's place. It was quiet and peaceful. Looking forward to coming back at another time when the weather is better. Highly recommend!!
