5 stars Our stay at Villa Lemonia was perfect! The villa blends modern comfort with traditional Cretan design, offering privacy and stunning views. The indoor spaces are fresh and stylish, with every room designed to capture beautiful sea and sunset views. The outdoor area is equally impressive, perfect for lounging, swimming, or enjoying a meal. The villa's location is ideal—just a 10-minute drive to Rethymno beaches and close to local restaurants, cafes, and vineyards. Lily was an exceptional host, providing excellent recommendations and embodying true Cretan hospitality. She made our stay feel special, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful yet convenient retreat in Crete!

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing villa and cannot recommend it enough. Maria was a fantastic host. She arranged our airport taxis and throughout our stay Maria was always on hand - we couldn’t ask for more. The villa was amazing and in an ideal location right on the beach. The pool area was excellent, private and peaceful. Maria also provided sunbeds on the beach where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. There are many local tavernas within walking distance - we epecially recommend the Mareem & Finikas Tavernas. We also went to the old town one evening which cost 14 euros in a taxi and it’s well worth a visit as it’s really pretty with a great atmosphere. It is mainly pedestrian with lovely side streets to exlore and there is a real buzz in the evenings along the waterfront where there are great places to eat, or simply sit and people watch. Maria gave us a late check out at no extra cost which was so kind. We cannot recommend Maria and her villa enough and hope to return!

We stayed at Villa Casa De Campo from 10–17 June and loved every minute. The pool was spotless, a great size, and cleaned daily. The outdoor space was peaceful, with comfy sunbeds, large movable parasols, and beautiful surroundings. Inside, the villa was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed—Netflix, a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and even a barbecue with clear instructions. Bedrooms were bright with plenty of storage, and the air con worked brilliantly. Manolis and Margarita were fantastic hosts—welcoming us with food and drinks after a late flight, giving us great local recommendations, and bringing fresh bread every morning. Their kindness made a big difference. The location was perfect too—10 minutes to shops, bars, and restaurants, 15 minutes to the beach, and a short drive to the nearest town. We truly couldn’t recommend this villa more. It exceeded all expectations and made for a memorable, relaxing holiday.

Adamantios is a wonderful host. The villa is beautiful and exactly as described in the photos. We were made to feel welcome straight away woth homemade cake and olive oil as well as other bits. Adamantios was quick to respond to any questions we had and jumped to our rescue when our rental car battery died! The villa is t really walking distance to anywhere so my top recommendation would be to get a rental car with good AC! There are very few places around the area to park in the shade so if you have rubbish AC like we did, the journeys can be stressful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a bit of space from the business of local areas and wanting to switch off at the gorgeous pool!

Lily ist eine wunderbar warmherzige Person, die uns vom ersten Augenblick begeistert hat. Wir wurden super mit Tipps und kulinarischen Leckereien versorgt. Das Cottage und der Garten war sehr schön. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100%.

The house is really beautifull. Especially the direct access to the beach is a big advantage and definitely kept up with the high expactations. The location is great and you can reach everything for your daily needs in less than 5 min walking distance. Also the sea is really nice to swim in. Only the kitchen could be equipt a little bit better but beside from that we‘ve been really happy and think about coming back here. Great for big groups or families.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at this property, accompanied by our two teenaged children and my parents who are 79 & 81. It has panoramic views of the sea and surrounding Cretan landscape that are gorgeous, as are the grounds themselves. The house is accessed by an automated gate, so private and secure. The outside amenities are amazing and no detail has been spared, especially for families, as described in the listing. There is an elevator, which we predominantly used for luggage but is handy with older family members as the bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There are three bedrooms on the 2nd floor, all with their own en suite bathrooms, two with showers and one with a soaking tub. The top floor is its own suite with the stairs open to below so great if you are traveling with a family but maybe less so if you are four couples. The communication was excellent, with Roy responding to WA messages within moments, regardless of hour and the housekeeper came daily. We loved our stay!

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Lovely house nice a quiet and peaceful good location in the middle of the island easy to find. The English host / contact was brilliant very friendly and nice could help more and provided loads of recommendations

Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Beautiful place, great for families. Lots of toys and even a potty for the kids! Cleaner came mid week which was not necessary but so great. Beach is a 3 min walk. Really need a car to get there which was fine for us! Thanks for everything.

We loved staying at Petros's place. The location is picture perfect and completely serene, coupled with the stunning views - perfect getaway gem. The villa is beautifully designed with lots of places to explore and hang out in. Petros is very accommodating and all around helpful from assisting us in setting up the outdoor speakers to offering to make restaurant reservations on our behalf. We had an absolutely amazing time and hope to stay at the villa again when we come back to Crete. Highly recommend!

Das tolle Haus, mit dem Pool befindet sich in einer unglaublich schönen, ruhigen Umgebung. Man ist sehr privat. Wir ( 6 Personen) haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Fotos sind real. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich mit frischem Obst, besonders lecker die Zitronen, und frischem Wasser. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Es ist ein Luxus, dass jedes Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Der Ausblick ist fantastisch, ebenso der Sternenhimmel jede Nacht. Restaurants sind in 10 min zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Christos und Giorgos sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war schnell und unkompliziert. Ein wirklich schöner Urlaub zum abschalten und genießen.

Une villa au bout du monde, perchée sur une falaise avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et les montagnes environnantes… idéal pour des vacances paisibles et reposantes, loin du bruit et de l’agitation. Plages sympas à 10 minutes en voiture (Agios Pavlos) et tous commerces nécessaires à 20/25 minutes (Agia Gallini). Nous ne pouvons que recommander !

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

We only have positive things to say about our stay at this Villa! Manolis and Zania were extremely friendly, helpful and were gracious enough to greet us upon arrival. They even filled the refrigerator with groceries for us. Everything was as advertised on the website . We loved swimming in the pool, played ping-pong and basketball almost every day . Each room had one large TV, a comfortable bed, fresh clean linens and large windows with a view of the beautiful yard. We also loved the fact that there was a washer and dryer. Everything was also within proximity; from beaches to Rethymno city centre, supermarkets and local taverns . We would highly recommend this Airbnb to any large group of people staying in Crete. This definitely won’t be the last time we stay at this villa. Thanks again Manoli and Zania for making our vacation unforgettable. Till next time!

Our stay at the villa far exceeded our expectations. It couldn’t have been more perfect for our family of 6 adults/3 couples each with our own thoughtfully decorated bedrooms with ensuites. Anna & Georgio are warm, wonderful & super helpful hosts. They provided a much-appreciated array of goodies to help us get settled & were easily reachable for any advice or queries. Their warm hospitality & beautiful villa will always hold a special place in our hearts as we held a very special family celebration there with our family. Highly recommend the villa. I hope we’ll be back!

We loved the villa, it is exactly as pictured and as other guests have commented on- Etouri are excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to book this villa again. Lots of great features that have already been mentioned in previous reviews such as super comfy beds and pillows, spacious, light and airy.. but just to add, the Villa was fully equipped with big fluffy bath sheets (12!) and they were replaced half way through the week when the villa was cleaned. Lots of great personal touches, I can confirm the hairdryer is decent and I was pleasantly surprised to find both English and German books to read. Each room has a private balcony. We paid the extra to have the pool heated, it was heated to a perfect 29 degrees. The pool depth is 1.3 throughout and was exceptionally clean. Rethymno is a great location. We recommend going to the old town for dinner at Lemonkipos, also not to be missed a cheese farm nearby called Arkadianos and our favourite beach was Karavostasi in Bali.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Villa Amara mit unserer 10köpfigen Familie. Der Pool war toll, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und besonders fantastisch war die komplette Reinigung der Villa nach der Hälfte unseres Urlaubs (inklusive Handtuch- und Bettwäschewechsel). Hervorzuheben sind vor allem Otilia und die Reinigungskraft Mirella die den Aufenthalt besonders persönlich gemacht haben. Supermärkte, Strand und Tavernen sind alle fußläufig erreichbar. Auch tolle Bäckereien befinden sich in der Nähe der Villa. Eine klare Empfehlung für die Villa Amara.

Fick ett fint välkomnande! Bodde i lägenheten en vecka med mina vänner och boendet var över våra förväntningar. Det såg ut som på bilderna. Superfint! Alla var väldigt nöjda med bokningen av boendet och skulle kunna tänka sig att åka dit igen.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful villa. It has everything you need for a comfortable visit; it is private, safe, clean, and conveniently located near the sea, restaurants, and the city center. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning for another stay.

Ett fantastiskt hus med underbar havsutsikt och alla bekvämligheter! Smakfullt inrett med bra kvalitet både inomhus och utomhus. Mycket privat läge utan insyn. Ljuvlig altan med pool, parasoller och utemöbler. Blev mottagna personligen i huset på utsatt tid och fick en rundvisning av huset och alla funktioner samt en korg med specialiteter från Kreta. Gångavstånd ca 5-10 min till Plakias med affärer och restauranger. Det enda vi hade önskat var några fler krokar att hänga kläder på.

Super lieve mensen. Alles was goed geregeld. Ondanks de zandstorm hebben ze echt een top service gegeven. We kregen er als sorry zelfs pizza voor terug terwijl ze er niks aan konden doen. Heel lief. Zeker een villa om een keer naar toe te gaan.
