Valerie was a very friendly and helpful host. Her communication was top-notch. The space was homey and convenient - it was the perfect location! We are pretty new to Air bnb so we appreciated the clear and easy instructions and Valerie checked in on us throughout our stay. Definitely recommend!

Mill Street Suite at The Rooms at The Stone Mill

We stayed in the mill suite for two nights during the total solar eclipse. What is remarkable is that even though we only booked about a week before the eclipse, Stacey had not jacked the price to an outrageous level like many places did. That tells you a lot about her integrity. We found the suite to be comfortable and spacious, as was the common sitting area. It was fun to chat with other guests who were also there for the eclipse. The accommodation could not have been in a better place. The river and dam behind the building were beautiful, it was within walking distance of everything, and The Mad Taco restaurant on the first floor was a great perk! The free parking lot was mere steps away, and we really appreciated the EV chargers. We did not have enough time to explore Middlebury, as we spent the full day chasing the eclipse. The Mill Suite was a wonderful and comfy place to come home to, though. We would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Tim and Wendy are great hosts. It was nice being greeted by Tim and getting introduced to the space. The room is very cozy and simple. The amenities are very basic, in fact, too basic. No microwave, plates or bowls. Eating in isn't really an option but plenty of restaurants nearby. The setting is bucolic and extremely peaceful and pleasant. Wonderful front porch, great for coffee in the rising sun. Great walking and birdwatching behind the house down Middle Road South. I highly recommend the Crow's Nest.
