It rises past apple orchards and open fields towards the wooded slope of Cashtown Gap in South Mountain. In summer, the room is cooled with a modern mini-split unit and a ceiling fan. In winter, the room is warmed by the mini-split unit and a radiator with thermostat control.

Miss Dorothy's Suite Executive Room

This luxurious second floor Executive Suite overlooking York Street is dedicated to Miss Dorothy, who was the previous owner of the home until 2012. Miss Dorothy purchased the 8700 square foot home in June of 2001 with hopes of someday turning the home into a Bed and Breakfast. Although, during her ownership she was not able to open the home as a Bed and Breakfast she used the home as an art studio and converted the Carriage house into her doll shop.

It was remodeled with love 18 years ago and became a cozy family home, where children grew and memories were created. Langdon Hill House, Langdon Room

Step back in time at the Langdon Hill House, a stunning Bed and Breakfast built in 1816 by Thomas McKelip. Nestled atop Baltimore Hill, this house became a strategic vantage point during the battle of Gettysburg. Explore the many artifacts found within its walls and under the floorboards. There is evidence of the wounded still visible. Come stay at Langdon Hill House, where you can relive history. This room is located on the 2nd floor.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.
