Civil War Farm House w/Heated (seasonal) Pool

MollyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Extremely beautiful historic farmhouse! Went on a family vacation and felt like we were in an oasis! Extremely clean home and clean and smelling wonderful linens and sheets. Felt like I was staying at my grandmothers house. Tina and Todd were only a text away but we also felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Gettysburg battlefields and downtown only a 10 minute drive. Really wonderful place and worth every penny. Cows were adorable and while they were vocal on our first night, we did not mind. Ear plugs were provided in case they got too rambunctious! Only regret is not asking to have the pool opened because it got up to 80 one day but next time we stay here we will be sure to bring bathing suits!

POOL & Lrg Private Yard, Gazebo, Outdoor Kit/Bath!

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We really enjoyed this place. It was a great location and only 30 minutes from Hershey (which we also visited while there). The house was in a location that felt safe and clean. My daughter and I went for a walk on the sidewalk our first evening there. The back yard is fenced in and when out there you felt as though you were in our own secluded oasis. The house is older and quirky (that we all enjoyed), but has this comfortable charm about it. Our group enjoyed the air hockey table and the pool (even though it was 54 degrees and cloudy) that didn’t keep them from the pool. Brooks reach out before our arrival with check in information and was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying again when we visit the area.

Applewood Landing

LindseyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family loved our stay at this beautiful home! The house is just as nice in person as the photos and had everything needed to keep two kids entertained on a bad-weather day of our trip. The house is close enough to Gettysburg to just pop over but far enough out to have peace and quiet at the end of the day. We loved the basketball hoop that was height adjustable for little kids and all of the games found in the garage. The pool wasn't open yet but I imagine it would be spectacular in the summer. Logan was a super friendly and responsive host and I would definitely rent from him again.

The Wolf Den

ConnieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Stayed two nights hosts were very helpful with directions to house which made it easy to find. Home is located on a very private beautiful property it was so peaceful we didn't want to leave to do our planned Gettysburg activities. The house is super clean and well stocked with whatever you may need. The extra touches were appreciated. Location was perfect, it gives you the feeling you are so far away from everything but town is minutes away, easy ride to restaurants, museums and battlefield. Host were very nice, good communication and very accommodating. We highly recommend staying here.

100% pristine Airbnb! Exactly as the photos show with plenty of room. Extremely clean and well stocked with cooking basics. Location was perfectly just outside of Gettysburg but close enough to what the town has to offer. Kelsey was very quick to answer questions and the property owner came to do a quick repair while we were there. I highly recommend this location for anyone who wants to enjoy Gettysburg but also wants to enjoy a quiet location. Also- the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable! Hoping to book here again in the future!

Oasis Above The Lake (10 miles to Gettysburg)

LindsayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Oasis was exactly that - a beautiful, serene spot on the lake with all of the necessities and EXTRAS! The screened in porch and deck are incredible - spring had sprung so the view did not disappoint. Not only was there fresh bread upon arrival, Tierra asked the age of my kids beforehand and had a special Easter basket for them, the pack-n-play set up and children-sized robes hanging in their closet; within the first 20 minutes of being there they both said "this is the best life ever!". I'll never forget it. They are 5, 3 and 1. Tierra also left a ton of recommendations based upon our interests - all EXCELLENT. It's a great location to do absolutely nothing or to explore the surrounding areas. We spent a ton of time on the battlefield and it was an easy 20 minute. Great spot to chill out while my youngest was napping and wind down when everyone was asleep. Couldn't recommend it more.

Songbird Cottage

I have been mostly using hotels and satisfied. However, I use Airbnb for the first time, it was a really satisfying experience. The times we talked while smiling without knowing the time… It was a time that made me feel the joy of the traveling once again. And I want to thank Steph for always helping me kindly. Thanks for the all the kindness you have prepared and used all the things you need without any inconvenience, even though it was a short time Thank you.

Mountain / Ski Chalet in Fairfield, PA - Location!

KatherineRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It was a great place to stay for a weekend snowboarding trip! The house was so cozy, definitely felt like a home. We liked that we could all each control the heat/ac in our own rooms for our preferences. Having cooking utensils, plates, bowls, etc. was perfect for our hot pot night after a long day at Liberty - which was SO close. Loved how it was in a quiet neighborhood, very peaceful. The only things to note are that 1.) we wished the bedrooms had trash cans in them, primarily the two rooms upstairs since the other two rooms had their own bathroom, 2.) the TV's in the living room(s) and top bedroom to the left weren't functioning well due to poor connection. We were hesitant to unplug then re-plug the router so we just let it be especially since we were out most of the day anyways. Overall it was a perfect stay! We all got our own rooms/space and it felt as if we were in a home away from home. I'd definitely love to come back here in the future.

IDEAL location Families & groups! ADA approved

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If we could give 10 stars, we would. We have never had such a pleasant, wonderful experience at an AirBNB. Tina and Pete were so thoughtful and such great hosts. There were freshly baked pastries waiting for us when we arrived at the home. There was also a candy dish left for the kids to enjoy during the stay. It felt like we had come home to visit family - that is how thoughtful and attentive Tina and Pete were. The home is beautifully decorated, and Pete and Tina have clearly spared no expense in furnishing the home with top of the line bedding, blankets and other amenities. The house is just two small blocks from the historic center of Gettysburg. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was fully equipped with ample bathroom products (nice shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other hotel style toiletries) and laundry supplies, bottled water, condiments, board games, reading books, etc. if you are coming to Gettysburg, this is THE place to stay at with your family. Superb

Cozy Mountain Retreat - Remodeled Near Ski Resort

MeganRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Cozy Mountain Retreat is without question one of the best-equipped and nicest properties in which we’ve ever stayed. There was plenty of room for our group, a three generation group ranging in age from 16 to 95! The teen traveler greatly enjoyed the game room. The neighborhood was scenic, quiet, and safe. The location was perfect for seeing the sights both in Gettysburg as well as other nearby towns. Highly recommended!

Gettysburg Getaway! Battlefield/Wineries/Ski/Hike!

RondaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a wedding in the area and the house was minutes from the venue. The home was very clean and well furnished. It was perfect for our family. We enjoyed playing pool in the basement and the pond across the street was beautiful with the changing leaves as a backdrop. Time did not allow us to fish as much as we had wanted to. Gettysburg was less than 15 minutes away. We enjoyed the quaint area as well as the national military park. Check-in was easy and Shane was very helpful with restaurant recommendations.

Historic York Street Manor-Downtown Gettysburg!

EricRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The pictures don’t do this place justice. This home is absolutely beautiful, and is located in an area that makes walking or driving to nearby attractions really easy. Frank was super easy to work with, and always responsive when we had a question (although we didn’t need to ask that many as the “welcome letter” he provided answered many of the questions one might ask). We really enjoyed our stay there, and highly recommend it!
