Vacation rentals with lake access in Acacia Bay

Sarah was a wonderful host and her place felt like home. We had everything we needed for a week in Taupo. Close to a shopping market and the walking path on the lake, the place was quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful location. Great house for our two family home holiday. Stayed in April and the heating was lovely. The heated pool was a nice surprise. Plenty of private areas if you needed space. Having access to the walking track by the lake was fantastic. House is starting to need some love but still a very lovely stay.

Was a comfortable stay with everything we needed. Exactly as described as an older style of property with furnishing that matched. Nice bedding and a good night sleep. Great location to the town and lake.

Great place to stay. It was a shame the plunge pool wasn’t working but communication was good and we were compensated.

We had an amazing weekend at this picture perfect spot overlooking acacia bay. Belinda was a wonderfully friendly host who made us feel so welcome and her house was exactly what we were hoping for, so comfy and cosy with stunning views. We loved curling up on the window seats and getting cosy by the log fire when the sun went down. Would highly recommend to anyone and we'll definitely be back.

This is an awesome home. Well furnished and the kitchen has every item you need to cook up a feast. Very spacious and the swim in the river was great. We will be back one day.

An amazing place to relax with all the mod cons! The host was super attentive and nothing was a problem. Thoroughly recommend this place and would come back again. Absolutely would rate this as a five star plus place to escape to.

Beautiful modern and clean apartment conveniently located providing privacy and all day sun. The aircon came in handy too. Very well equipped kitchen including condiments, gladwrap etc and various cooking and serveware. Laundry facilities were also well equipped including a laundry basket, pegs and clothes line. Also included board games which the kids loved. Pool was perfect for the summer heat. Beds, blankets and pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

I thought it was a room under the hosts house however it turned out to be a lovely stand alone unit nicely decorated comfortable bed practical kitchen and lounge with lots of sun nice view of the lake and very peaceful I would highly recommend a stay at Irene's if you are in Taupo. It's a couple of minutes drive to the local dairy Bar and restaurant with nice food. And only about 5 or 6 minutes drive to the town centre

We had a great stay at Pam’s house in Taupo. The house was the perfect setup for our family of 4 with plenty of space to holiday in comfort. The house was very modern, clean and spacious - very comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need to holiday away from home. Location was great - easy to get to and from town with just a short car trip away. From the house you can also spend time eating outside in the garden or walking down the steps to the river - great for children. Thank you for the warm welcome and having us stay. A place we will happily book again.

I didn't stay here personally but my best friend did. She said it was amazing. Clean, tidy, great location. She said Jane went above and beyond. I spoke back n forth with Jane when booking the air bnb and she was super helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home ….. our hosts Marki and Chris were just wonderful and everything about the space and the surroundings was top notch. The furnishings, decor, attention to detail, lovely treats and overall vibe of the home was very special …. Walking distance to the most beautiful little bay, surrounded by nature was awesome. Would thoroughly recommend!!!

We really enjoyed our stay and thought the property was really lovely . The property was in a really good location - easily walkable to the centre but in a really pretty spot by the river and near the Marina and so felt like you were in a peaceful and quiet location. The property was really well maintained - modern design , very light , well furnished , good kitchen with all the appliances etc that you could need. Very clean and tidy. Air con in living room and in bedroom at bottom of house. Note that basic cooking staples ( oil , herbs etc) not included. Not a problem for us but just mentioning so you can bring your own if you want to cook. We really enjoyed the area - loads to do. Overall we were really happy.

We had a nice stay at Paul's Aribnb. Instructions were very thorough which made checking in and out very easy. Property is exactly as described.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, walking distance to lake front. We loved the bach feel and admired the decor - ample books, DVDs and family board games to keep you entertained, and a classic table tennis table! Clean, tidy home to enjoy.

This place is truly amazing, it has a lot of character, the place is super well maintained and clean. The view is breathtaking, I wish we could have stayed longer :)

Tastefully renovated cottage with lovely wooden floors. Detail in funky crockery and glasses, everything you needed to make your own dinners, great selection of games, loved the detail of a coffee machine and beans to freshy grind. Beautiful and sunny out the front. Great back yard if you had young children to run around in.

Great place to stay right by the lake. Easy to get to Taupo from the house.
