Our retreat consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bathroom and 1 living room equipped with a small kitchen and a barbecue outside. In the parish there is a pharmacy, supermarkets, gas station and restaurant that belongs to the owner of the bungalow where you can have lunch at an affordable price. 5 minutes from the river and the chapel of S. João with pool and barbecue area, benches and tables. 20 minutes away you can enjoy Esposende beach and Cabedelo, 20 minutes from Barcelos and 40 minutes from Porto

The coldest days invite to a evening by the fireplace where you can get cosy and watch the fire dance as the wood burns. It is a quiet place with a good neighborhood. The historic center of Viana do Castelo is a 10 minutes drive as well as several beaches such as Cabedelo beach, where you can practice various water sports such as surfing, windsurfing or paddle. My place is wonderful for families looking for peace and quiet. A few minutes from Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Esposende or the oldest village in Portugal, Ponte de Lima. Excellent for families with children. Surrounded by green fields and woods, the Atlantic Ocean is also about 10 minutes away, with fabulous beaches between Esposende, Viana do Castelo or Moledo. The Gerês mountain range is about 40 minutes away. The city of Braga is about 30 km away and Spain is 35 km away.
