This gem is pleasantly spaced AWAY from the tourists, meaning, only select this if that’s what you want and have already stayed in Downtown Kyoto. (The trains make everything close enough, though.) The Wi-Fi is blazingly fast, making it perfect for remote work. The host, Oguri, is a very kind gentlemen with strong english. There are bicycles available with a path, that, for me, completed my Kyoto Dream.

My friend and I had a great time staying at Oguri Airbnbs. Almost every amenities you could think of, he has. This was our most favorite and memorable stay during our whole trip! Thank you Oguri for being so kind and welcoming. We tried one of the ramen places he recommended and it was honestly the best one we’ve had! We can’t stop thinking about it. Below is my friend’s review for Oguri’s place: Oguri was very communicative and welcoming. After we settled in, he told us about his favorite places to eat nearby which were banger options. This is the place that has everything you may need. Even things you didn’t know you’d need and thought you wouldn’t need until its time to use it, haha. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Near train stations for an easy commute. Great convenience stores nearby for a quick breakfast. Almost felt like your own home! Wished there were more guidelines regarding trash because I definitely got confused sometimes, but to each their own. Would love to stay.

I really recommend Monica's airbnb if you are staying in Osaka. it's an easy walk to Dotonbori and local train stations with plenty of amenities close by. Monica is a helpful and friendly host and always made sure we were OK throughout our stay. The rooms were really comfortable and the shower room was great! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Nice place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and also it has a karaoke bar in the same building.

First time staying here but have stayed at other Airbnbs by Oguri, who is an excellent host and always responsive. The place is easy to find, the building has a door code and the unit has a door code which made it easy to get in and out. Unfortunately you get a bit of traffic noise from outside because it’s next to a busy road. But the beds were super comfortable, full size kitchen with fridge and freezer. Has a washer but no dryer, but provides drying hangers. Everything was as described.

This was my second time booking Oguri-sama's listing and everything went so smoothly just as the first visit! This time, I stayed in room 204 which is good for 1 person or a couple. The apt I stayed in was nicely decorated.. the bed was so comfortable, I had a hard time waking up to go explore 😫 -The location is wonderful and it's near the train station, restaurants, and market.. Every thing on the listing is accurate. If you need other amenities like coffee or tea, you can grab more things in the hallway as well. In addition, Oguri-sama is a great host and is great at communicating! Don't forget to say hi to him when u see him downstairs! Misc Tip: There's no elevator, just stairs leading up to the 2nd floor, so if you have someone in your party that has difficulties using the stairs, it may not be for you. -There's a washing machine in the individual apts. but no dryer— hang it overnight and it would be dry the next day, not a big deal at all!

The space was really lovely, and it was nice to have a washing machine, especially after having to find laundromats around our previous hotels. The bathroom was nice and the washroom doubles as a space to hang and dry your clothes after washing. It has a control panel to turn on heating and ventilation to dry clothes. A contraption to hang your clothes is provided. All other provided amenities were as described. Everything was very clean, except for the couch (which folds out to another futon). The couch had white stains, and we didn’t want to sit on it without the provided sheets. Another thing to note is that the bed is extremely firm. Something to keep in mind for anyone with specific bed needs; not great if you’re a side sleeper.

Great spot! Washer in unit was a huge plus for us & pretty spacious in comparison to other stays in Japan. Location was also close by to station & walkable. Communication was top notch & someone was always responsive through message.

Awesome place to stay, steps away from one of the main subway lines so it was very helpful. The place was huge for the price! It was an amazing experience! The host was very responsive, I thought I forgot something and they responded within minutes! Thank you!

The house is truthfully described, the service staff is very quick to respond, and I have been in contact with the situation, and it will be very difficult to resolve it quickly.It is close to the station as well.Great place to buy supplies.

Good location, opposite Don Jicode, close to Tsutenkaku, the room is not large, but it is very refined.Two rooms can sleep 4 people, but the aisle is somewhat small, and it is difficult to unfold if there are more than 2 large boxes. The room is by the road, sleeping at night may be noisy, everything else is good.

Abit far from the namba station but it is accessible and near sakugarawa station there is 711 within 5 mins walk great place to stay and have great balcony

We are four adults and one child. Three rooms. The environment is good. It is very hygienic and clean. The facilities are fully equipped. It would be better if they could provide a few more bottles of water. Anyway, I recommend everyone to stay here.

Really liked the accommodation. Didn’t realise it’s right next to the red light district lol. The room I booked wasn’t available which was a bit annoying but the owner gave me the option to refund or change rooms and I changed and it was great. I’m happy with the stay.
