Whitethorn Cottage, Palmfield

This is a beautiful Irish cottage that is peaceful and rural but also close to a host of towns and tourist attractions in the west of Ireland. We loved the rolling green hills outside our front door and the short drive to Charlestown. Eva was a delightful host, and we will definitely be back again next time we visit Ireland.

I had a fantastic stay at AnneMarie's place! She was a wonderful host - very welcoming and made me feel right at home. She had lots of great recommendations for things to do and see in the area. The apartment is spotlessly clean, very comfortable and in a beautiful and peaceful location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back. I highly recommended staying here!

Elizabeth was responsive and so helpful when it came to recommendations around transport and what’s around the area. The stay was comfortable and exactly as described. Lovely home and lovely host, couldn’t ask for much more. 😊

Kierans place was absolutely fantastic! We felt very spoilt! He went the extra mile, fresh flowers, chocolate cake, drinks and many other extras. It was so lovely to be able to walk around the beautiful surroundings amongst nature. The home was warm and homely with lovely comfortable beds. Keiran was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful accommodation.

Conor's house is just awesome. Loved staying there from the cosy sitting/TV room, to the bright open kitchen/dining areas and the wonderful bedrooms. The beds we used were super comfortable and the linen was high quality and felt so nice. Conor is an amazing host who is very kind. Not only did he meet, he also left some food for us - sausages, bacon, eggs, milk, bread etc. Just wonderful. His mum is also super nice. You need a car. There is only one place to eat - O'Dowds pub (100 metres approx. away) however only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday from lunchtime to 6 pm. Ballaghadareen is about 15 mins away with more options.

A lovely house, in the countryside. We stayed for one night before an early flight from Knock. I would highly recommend this accommodation. It has everything you need for a relaxed stay in the countryside. There was also bread and milk left for us for breakfast, which was a lovely touch. 5⭐️
