Fiona’s house is a brilliant base for holidaying on the Ring of Kerry. The accommodation is spacious, lots of comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms with great showers, shower gel and shampoo in each. Communication with Fiona was excellent, she is available by text or phone call. She was very flexible with the check in and out times. We loved arriving to a warm house, as the heating was set on a timer. Everything was spotlessly clean and we were delighted with the welcome pack of fresh brown bread, butter and milk as well as plenty of fuel for the fire. The kitchen was stocked with the basic cooking ingredients and excellent cooking equipment. Plenty of books, games and jigsaws available for the whole family. We loved the location, 5 minutes by car to Cahersiveen with pubs and shops. And mountain walks, ancient stone forts, ruined castle and lovely beach on your door step! Very quiet location and a telescope in one of the rooms to gaze at the stars! We definitely would come to stay again!

As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.

We spent wonderful 4 nights at Katie‘s house. Enjoyed the landscape a lot and relaxed in the nice accommodation. Kate was always helpful in case we needed anything. Would love to come again.

we had a fabulous stay, the cottage has a lovely cosy old world charm. nearby shop 1 minute drive awayhad everything you'd need and foleys bar beside inch beach was super for food just a 5 minute drive away. beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Superb host would highly recommend

Denis is a wonderful host. The house is amazing. The location breathtaking. The whole group had a very comfortable and peaceful stay. Exactly what we needed. We are definitely going to return next year.

I cannot recommend The Old Milking Stall (Tim and Barbara) enough!! I stayed there with my family for 4 days and it was more than we could imagine! Tim and Barbara themselves are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t be any nicer if they tried! They provide a thoughtful welcome hamper! And for their home it is gorgeous! So beautiful from the garden to the reading nook, it’s perfect for all! Their pet dogs being your friend is a bonus! If you need any help they are willing to do what they can from taxi advice to food recommendations! If you need a place to stay in Skibbereen, The Old Milking Stall is definitely the place to stay! Beautifull tranquil place,spacious yet cozy appartment,Amazing garden not to be missed Very sweet owners ,loved the fact there was organic washing up liqiud,all very in tune with their guardianship of this little oasis. highly recommended

An absolute gem of a property in a wonderful quiet location with glorious views. The hosts were exceptional with their friendly welcoming way and they certainly went over and above to make our stay a memorable one. Highly recommended.
