Want to stay centrally in an apartment in the old village center of Moordrecht? Cycling through the lowest polders in the Netherlands or by ferry to an empty hinterland? Within 20 minutes cycling a cup of coffee at the Grote Markt of Gouda? In 20 minutes by train from Gouda to Rotterdam, The Hague or Utrecht and in 45 minutes to Amsterdam: Moordrecht=central! This small but nice house is both suitable as a holiday accommodation and also to stay for a slightly longer period (max 3 months).

Peaceful House Close to Rotterdam

The house is located in Capelle aan den IJssel, located in a quiet residential area and everything is within easy reach. 5 minutes away from the A20 in combination with free private parking and public parking. If you go by train it is 14 minutes to Rotterdam Central Station and 3 minutes to Rotterdam Alexandrium. From our house it is 4 minutes’ walk to the station and there is a shopping center next to the station. There are total 4 bedrooms with 1.4m-1.8m wide size beds available.

Farm Cottage with Dutch Polder views

This lovingly refurbished cottage sits in the middle of the Dutch polder landscape. With triple aspect views of fields, there is always something to see, whether it is farmers in action, cows grazing or a kestrel hovering. The area is popular with cyclists, walkers and birdwatchers, yet famous cities such as Gouda and Rotterdam are only a short car journey away. Please do note we are not close to any public transport links. The perfect place to relax or be as active as you like.

Rural guesthouse, close to Rotterdam

Behind our farmhouse is a separate guest house on our property. The cottage is quite and rural, but central in terms of area. It is complete, for up to 2 people, with privacy and unobstructed views at the back of the cottage on a meadow, where in the summer there are regularly some cows from the neighbors and sometimes some sheep in the winter. Our farm is no longer in function; we only have chickens (who run loose on the property) and there are a few rabbits and post pigeons.

Beautifully located on the Hollandse IJssel, the front house of our characteristic farmhouse offers a place to relax with a family or alone. Take a walk and enjoy our heritage animals (dogs, chickens, ducks, piglets, and horses) just like us. Pick up fresh eggs or cook with produce from the vegetable garden (seasonal) or enjoy the beautiful expansive view from the treehouse.

Our family home is situated close to everything you need in Rotterdam. The city center, the beach and stores are all within 30 minutes of our house in a very quiet neigberhood Our open living room will feel like you are sitting in the garden. The kitchen is very well equipped. Everything you need to create a real chef's diner is available. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms. Linnen and towels are not provided by us. But we can arrange them for you this will cost extra.

To note: The pool is only available from the middle of May till August.
