The house was very nice. The location right on the lake was a dream to be in. The free use of the pedal boat was also cool. I'd love to come back anytime.

Perfect place to stay if you enjoy the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the Beetsterzwaag forest. Great for a family of 4 with small children. There’s a playground across the street with an animal farm. The supermarket is within walking distance (10 min)., And you are literally around the corner from biking and walking trails. And, only 30 mins away from a city like Groningen or about 1h from the Wadden sea coast. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful.

What great days we spent in this fantastic cottage. Under the stars. Location on the heath is great. In the winter, the cottage is also nice and warm. Easy parking in front of the door. Contact with owners also what nice people. Not a standard commercial experience as is the case in many Airbnb places.

My wife and I more than "enjoyed" Marieke and Jaap's place! We have every intention of coming here again! It's just fanatical and for those who just want to get away from it all and switch off and unwind, just the right thing! Kind regards Farzad and Alina

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

House was good , spacious ,easy to find ,quiet ,restaurant in park 1 minute walk . There were 6 of us;from 30 to 49 years old ,for super bike axes. 25 minutes . Clean bathroom with bath and shower . Also available upstairs toilet. Kitchen with microwave and other appliances. If we come back next year, I'll first see if it's free. Thick thumb to Tim

Had a fantastic stay in Ansen. Clean and nicely furnished house, with all the comforts. Owners are very hospitable and like to think along and proactively.

An absolute recommendation, the house of the two. The accommodation is unique, a great environment, with East Frisian charm. We got to know Karin and we were impressed from the start by her open, warm and likeable nature. The hosts were simply "excellent" in every respect, I can't express it any better. In addition, I personally "fell in love" with her dog 🥰 We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything to all of you! 🫶🏼

Had a perfect stay for a few days. We wanted a weekend of chill and that's what we got :) Sauna and hottub were fantastic for relaxing, especially after a nice walk in the forest. That's all actually! Everything was in order and as expected. Recommended spot for calming down.

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

We spend a wonderful weekend there with friends. The location is lovely and quiet, but close to lots of activities in the area. Perfect place to stay, we'll definitely come here again.

We spent New Year's Eve here and felt right at home. Upon our arrival, Astrid and Rinus gave us a small house tour and left a fried treat. Although the house is quite old, we did not have to freeze because there are enough heaters. If you are traveling with nine adults, be aware that three of them should not have claustrophobia as they sleep in a "closet." We were super satisfied and can only recommend it.

At the Dwingelderveld National Park, there is the cottage, which is equipped with all comforts; private parking, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom and if you open the sliding door you are in the woods and you can sit in the garden and watch the squirrels and birds. Within a few minutes walking distance you are at the sheepfold. You can really escape the hustle and bustle of nature for a while

Staying in the artfully furnished little house was a very good experience. Thea and Gerard are great hosts, very friendly and relaxed, and easy to communicate with. The breakfast prepared by Thea was fantastic, the best we've had in a long time. Strongly recommended!

We had a fantastic weekend at Connie's Airbnb! What a beautiful location and a tranquility. Surrounded by water and a covered outdoor area where we were able to have delicious breakfast every morning (group of 10). The beds slept well and in no time you are both in picturesque Dokkum or you can walk to Pieterburen. Before and during our stay it was easy to text with Connie, she responded quickly and gave lots of different tips. Thanks again!

We visited the place with a group of 7 friends & family members for around 3 days. There is always something to do and it never gets boring due to the vast options of activities. We could've stayed 3 more days and would still find things to do. The Space is huge and the garden and surroundings are very nice. It looks slightly different than on the pictures but almost everything is still there and it never bothered us. The kitchen is large and very well equipped, cooking for many people never felt like a hard task at all. The sleeping situation is unique and very well described in the listing already, but should be noted. Communication was fast, easy and friendly at all times. For us this weekend at Pasjas was everything!Thank you!

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

We really enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house. The area is beautiful, you can walk into the nature reserve from the garden. We have lovely hikes and enjoyed the tranquility. The house is cozy and practical, and the three bedrooms are very spacious. Glad there was a built-in shower in the bedroom on the ground floor, and a separate bathroom on the first floor. I'd like to come back again!

There were six of us (four adults, one toddler and one dog) who had a fantastic stay with Robert. Great place to stay in a very nice, well-kept park, wonderfully located in a forest area including lake. Beautiful Groningen is also easily accessible by car. Highly recommend!

Our stay at this cottage was just exceptional! From the first moment we felt completely comfortable. The personal attention was perfect. The place is absolutely great – everything was spotlessly clean and very lovingly furnished. Especially the hot tub was an absolute highlight and made our stay even more relaxing and restful. Above all, it was already warmed up on arrival. The private parking right outside the door was also extremely convenient and saved us a lot of time and stress. The cottage itself was well equipped – it really had everything we needed to feel right at home. The kitchen was superbly equipped, the bedroom comfortable and the living area just cozy. Nothing was missing! The location was also perfect – quiet yet central, so we could reach everything quickly. We highly recommend this place. A real superhost!
