Family-friendly vacation rentals in Zavala

Villa Belpur is a lovely large, modern villa with a spectacular pool area that’s even better than the pictures. Set back from the road near Pitve, the location is beautiful. Communication with owner Tina at Tranquilladria was mostly excellent, including all sorts of very helpful local info, recommendations and bookings. We used the driver, Marko, for nights out in Hvar (book in advance) and Jelsa which worked really well, we also had a hire car which we’d recommend as there’s lots nearby but not easily walkable. We were disappointed to be told only on check-in by the local property manager that the hot tub was inoperative. That said, Tina subsequently offered compensation and even made efforts to arrange some time for us in a local spa which was very much appreciated, and overall we really enjoyed our time at Belpur and would recommend it for larger parties in particular.

This was the most beautiful place. The views were breathtaking and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. Edi was a great host and very accommodating. We fell in love with Hvar and if we ever came back, this is where I’d want to stay!

This is one little paradise. The house is located in a quiet part of the Basine near the town of Vrboska. The apartment has a beautiful view of the sea. During the day, you'll enjoy a courtyard full of flowers and the most beautiful color of the sea. And at night, you'll only hear the waves. This beauty can't be painted so you expect everything to be MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL than in the pictures.

Natalie's place was great and met our expectations and more. We particularly liked the large balcony and other outdoor dining area, making an already large apartment super spacious. Very well equipped in every regard. It's also a lovely 15 minute walk around the bay to Hvar Town, so well located. Very peaceful, lovely spot and wonderful views. Highly recommend.

We came to stay at Franos place for a week as we were getting married nearby. He was a great host and made the week great for us! Would recommend staying here :)

We are delighted with the accommodation! Fully equipped accommodation to the smallest detail, even a tablet for the dishwasher. We were greeted with a gift of the house (drinks, fruit,…). The host offered to wait for us at the agreed place to make it easier for us to find the house. We had the option of early check-in. Everything was clean and the host gave us tips and advice on local attractions. We'll come again!

By far the best Airbnb stay I've ever had! Josipa and her father were kind enough to transfer us to and from the Hvar town to the apartment (apartment is on a steep hill with steps). Josipa was really friendly and shared us some of her favourite restaurants and things to do on the island. The apartment was beyond incredible, the rooms were perfectly air conditioned and she provided lots of useful amenities including beach towels, slippers and a washing machine. The view was beautiful, you can see the Pakleni islands very clearly and Vis in the background. The hot tub was easy to use and fantastic in the evening. There were also plenty of furniture including sunbeds. The location was brilliant, it was only a 15 minute walk to a nearby public beach and was fairly easy to walk up and down to town in the evening, although be cautious during midday as there isn't much shade. There is also a supermarket about 15 mins away a few streets down. Great for couples or up to four people!

The location of the apartment was great. The privat parking in front of the house was very helpful for us. Everything was like in the description, for two people perfectly fine.

This place is beautiful. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning. We saw the stars and heard owls at night. Has everything you need to make breakfast and do some basic cooking if you can be bothered, but there's lots of places to eat in the likes of Bol, with quite a few still open in the shoulder season. It is next to another kind of boutique hotel/airbnb thing but you're still afforded relative privacy from the terrace. Marijan gave us solid instructions on how to get there, but we still drove past the turn off so better to get there in daylight if you can. You will need a car. All in all such an amazing stay, the island of Brač has so much to offer, and this is a particularly idyllic spot. Thank you!

We had such a lovely stay! Vinka is a wonderful accommodating host. The location was incredible a quick walk to and from town with an amazing view. Would definitely stay here again as it had everything we needed and we felt very welcome

The stone house was the perfect choice for us. We got the peace and quiet we wanted by choosing this accommodation. The stone house has everything you need for a vacation. Clean and tidy bedding, the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts were pleasant and friendly.

The place is so beautiful that no photo will reveal this wonderful view that amazed us every day. The atmosphere of the house was amazing - we felt like on a deserted island surrounded by chickens, a rooster, who was our morning alarm clock, and the beautiful horses complemented the charm of this place... The house was clean, very well-equipped- and you can feel homely when cooking dinners on the patio. Close to the beach with a descent to the bottom where we were alone. Not only the atmosphere of the house, its location, the amazing view made an impression on us - such great hosts, with a huge heart, helpful and warm-hearted, and when we returned home, we received a gift from them and a beautiful bear for our daughter. Everything was super. The apartment had everything you need, nice balcony, quiet location and walking distance to everything. Helena was very kind and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Andelkas villa. The view down to the coast from the pool was beautiful. As a group we really liked the outdoor kitchen and pool area. The villa was only a short drive from lots of beaches and the lovely towns of Jelsa and Starigrad. The parking was situated away from the villa and was a bit tricky at times, but we always managed to find a space.

Super nice apartment in a top location. Everything was clean and new. We will definitely come back.

I think Villa Lemo might be the nicest AirBnB we've stayed at. It was lovely and spacious for a family of 4, immaculately clean, and the outdoor space and pool were great. the neighbourhood is very peaceful, but only 10 mins walk to the harbour and old town. We're used to arriving at AirBnBs and having to go out almost immediately to buy toilet rolls, coffee etc - Sandra's place had everything we needed, including toiletries and beach towels, for our entire stay. Sandra and Tony were great hosts - they answered any questions really quickly, and otherwise we barely knew they were there, even though they live next door. Will definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Bol again!

Lana was a fabulous host she responded quickly to my messages and had lots of restaurant recommendations, we also enjoyed the use of the bikes. The accommodation was stunning with a large pool area that was very private. The views from the apartment were beautiful looking up at the fort. The location was perfect it is only a short walk from the docks, restaurants and supermarket. If we were to come back to Hvar we would definitely be rebooking Villa Flora!

We were a group of 9 people. The location is fantastic. Very quiet and you can go directly from the villa to the sea. The house was very clean and looked as pictured. The kitchen in the house and also the outdoor kitchen were well equipped and had everything you need. We thought the grill and the pizza oven were great. The house is a bit out of the way. There are no restaurants nearby. However, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and they are easily accessible by car. The house is perfect for relaxing vacations.

We had the most wonderful stay at villa bella. The photos do not do it justice, it has the most breathtaking views. It’s so well priced seeing as it has the most beautiful views I’ve ever seen. The villa was completely spotless, spacious and so homely. We all really enjoyed our stay here. Filip is the most amazing host! I stayed with my grandparents, they arrived before me, Filip picked my grandparents up from the ferry and settled them in. He also went above and beyond, took them food shopping, helped them book taxis and the ferry back. He also met my husband and I at the ferry and helped us to a taxi. He was here early morning every morning to clean the pool. I was always asleep but my nan was normally up and she loved their little chats, she thinks he’s wonderful! He also brought croissants He is honestly so amazing and so kind and really goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect.

We didnt want to leave!!! We are already recommending this lovely little find to friends and family and we will definitely be back. We booked last minute and Maja could not have been anymore accommodating and helpful. The villa was everything we could have wished for . Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was amazing only 5 minute walk to the harbour and restaurants and 15 minutes to the beach. We rented a boat for the day to explore the islands and rented bikes for a day and cycled over to Jesla which was a delight. Hvar town is only 30mins taxi ride away . Very nice accommodation. Highly recommended! What is nice is that you can easily walk to the village where you have all kinds of restaurants, small supermarkets and a cozy little harbor. Highly recommended to rent a boat locally. 1 point for improvement is the limited cabinet space for your clothes. There were four of us and then 1 closet is a little bit. One tip is to order the food of the owner's mother. It's really delicious!

What a fantastic apartment. It's extremely well equipped, with every little detail thought of. The balcony is a wonderfully peaceful place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view of the inlet and the pine-clad hills. Our kids loved the pool, and also the pool table, even though they've never played before! The location is about as good as you could hope for - it's about a 10 minute walk in one direction to the centre of Vrboska and a nice selection of restaurants and shops, and a 10 minute walk in the other direction to a lovely shaded beach with an Aqua Park, a couple of kiosks and a cafe. And if you just want to get into the sea, about 50 metres from the apartment there is a very pleasant little cove to swim in. Thank you very much to our hosts Predrag and Dajana, who were always very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful holiday and are already planning our return.

Linda and Ivo’ place is beautiful and was perfect for our family of four. Linda and Ivo really fit the bill when it comes to being super hosts - nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated their warm welcome. They went above and beyond to help us settle in and make sure we had what we needed. We came without a car and found getting around no problem - the bikes were very useful and the boats regular. Ivo’s help getting to and from the port with luggage was much appreciated. The kids loved Brac - snorkelling and windsurfing was a hit. Very sad to leave…!
