Perfect place to stay and very friendly people with a business mind. Always take good care of their guests.

Lubumbashi is the capital of Katanga, and a big center of mining. Not so much a tourist destination (the same could be said about much of the Congo). But Gloria's lodge/hotel with thatched roof cottages is great, and a pure oasis in a bustling African city (with some horrendous traffic jams). Gloria doesn't live there, but her staff serve lovely meals, and once you're "back home" at the lodge, the rest of the city fades away. It worked for me, but keep in mind it's a bit (say 5 km) from the city center. Loved the staff, and the beauty of the lodge.

Second time staying here. Still a great option in Lilongwe. Peaceful and serene. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also good. Will stay again next time!

Absolute heaven. Wonderful space with beautiful views, pool area, perfect for lounging or meeting new people. Highly recommended!

Heather’s cottage is a wonderful place to stay in Harare, it is located in a picturesque area of the city with all the facilities one could need. The hostess, Heather, is a fascinating person, kind, respectful and resourceful, I wish I stayed there longer.

Such an awesome place to stay. So beautiful the surroundings may be, to stay home at one of the huts is a good idea as well. We enjoyed every minute and can't wait to come back.

We had an absolutely amazing stay with Blessing and Simba during our trip to Victoria Falls! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable and stress-free. The place was very clean and well-kept, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. What truly stood out was their exceptional hospitality. They kindly collected our bags from the airport at no extra cost while we went straight into our first activity. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our arrival seamless. Throughout our stay, they were fantastic communicators and always ready to assist. The value for money was unbeatable, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Highly recommend staying with Blessing and Simba if you’re visiting Vic Falls.

This is a great place to stay — the rooms are simple but well-arranged and equipped with all the basics. Hot water, electricity, and internet were all abundantly available and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Tafadzwa arranged transportation for all of my trips and he and his drivers were entertaining and informed guides to Harare. Overall, I found Harare to be an overpriced city, but given that context, this space is a great value.
