The location of the place is great! It's near the beach and near several sari-sari stores. A drive away (1 tricycle away) to the market so it's advisable to buy/bring ready-to-eat items and other cooking essentials before going to the place.

Glass House 2 - Beachfront Villa

LawrenceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
My Team Enjoyed Staying at your Place Ms. Daisy! The beach is clean and the place is so relaxing. All materials needed cooking is readily available. One minor concern is that the caretaker doesn’t clean the pool in the morning not like what I saw in Sundowner in early morning. But the overall experience is 5 star! The place is really good for Family and Barkada outings. Will definitely book again with my Family! Thank you

The Sandbar Villa

JeromeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The room and pool were very clean especially the pool since it is always cleaned in the morning. The staff were polite and kind to all our request and they even served us a delicious seafood pasta even if it wasnt listed on their menu because they had some ingredients for it. The wifi can be weak at times but its not really a problem for us because we just wanted to relax. Overall this place is a 10/10 place for us and we are looking to go back. They are also pet friendly and even cooked a special chicken for our dogs.

White's place is amazing!. What really got me sold is the vibe of the place, very relaxing especially the panoramic view in the master's bedroom. White was very helpful and always updates me if something happens during my stay with any of the amenities. He is very easy to reach out to and very accommodating, and always makes sure you have what you need. My goal is to relax and unwind from the city life and it definitely made my trip worth it. Exceeded my expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

H2 - Beach House @ Clearwater Beach Zambales

DaleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed for 3d2n, and there was a hiccup during our 2nd night which almost made us not want to go back there but we really love the place (this was our 2nd time) and we even recommended this to our friends. After relaying the 2nd night's fiasco through fb dm, Sir Roy & Ms. Joanne very kindly visited us first thing in the morning to make amends and made sure we felt we're valued as guests. We will definitely go back and we can say that this place is definitely work from the beach & pet friendly! Highly recommended to remote Dinkwads ❤️

Peaceful Rest Space near the Beach

ConnieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The place is spacious and cleanliness is well maintained by the caretakers. It's a short walk to the beach. the house itself is neat, ac are cold , the water in the bathroom is weak and pressure is low and may need a little fixing ,the water heater is not working which is fine since it's summer but it would be best to have it fixed before the cold month comes. Overall our expectations have been met and we're satisfied with our stay. Surely worth a consideration when we decide to go back in zambales for a visit . we rate it as a solid 4 stars.

Erick’s Place Commune with Nature, View Sunset Bay

MoniqueRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Arvi & Erick were incredible hosts and extremely accommodating when our flight landed early. The property is absolutely beautiful with so much charm that far exceeds the photos. The beds were comfortable for our family of 8. We also had a great time with the karaoke bar! The location is great if you have transportation. There were a bit of stairs or incline, but it doesn't take away from the stunning views. Highly recommend and would love to rebook here in the future.

Your guide to Zambales

Welcome to Zambales

Zambales may be located just 80 miles from the dense crowds of Metro Manila, but this province on the central-western coast of Luzon presents a dramatic vibe shift: horseshoe-shaped coves with sandy beaches, colorful waterfront resorts, craggy chains of mountains draped in mossy rain forests. Needless to say, the South China Sea is a major draw. Subic Bay and Olongapo, the province’s biggest city, are prime destinations for Manilans seeking relaxation and international travelers alike, and you’ll find plenty of restaurants, waterparks, and attractions to entertain.

But if you’re craving a more serene stretch of the coastline, head north to the smaller towns. Charter a boat to explore the tropical islands that freckle the Zambales coast, or rent a surfboard for a week to ride the swells, which range from gentle and reliable to thrill-inducing depending on the spot. Zambales is famed throughout Luzon for its sugary gold mangos, and you’ll find markets stocked with local tropical fruits of all kinds to snack on.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Zambales

Does it ever get cold in tropical Zambales? Only if you climb Mount Tapulao and stay on the peak overnight. Along the central western edge of Luzon, temperatures remain constant between the 70s and the 90s Fahrenheit, and the humidity ranges from the comfortable to the oppressive — unless you’re on (and in) the water. During the wet, monsoon season, from June through September, it pours — frequently and copiously — and the cloud cover can seem endless.

The dry season lasts from late fall through early spring, which coincides with peak travel, and is a popular time to stay in a private beach house with pool for rent. Surfers flock to the coast from October to February, when the South China Sea’s easy swells grow more dramatic. In late October, the streets of Olongapo fill with dancers and music acts for three days during the city’s Mardi Gras, and in April Iba celebrates the sweet joys of the dinamulag mango, one of the Philippines’ best varieties, with sports, sand sculpture contests, and of course mango costumes.

Top things to do in Zambales

Pundaquit Beach

Pundaquit Beach is located in the relaxed town of San Antonio, 25 miles northwest of Olongapo. You can spend all day lounging on its fine ash sands in your swimwear, taking frequent dips into the warm blue waters of the South China Sea. But Pundaquit is also a central point for exploring the surrounding coves and islands. Rent a boat to visit nearby Capones Island, with its picturesque lighthouse, or the secluded Anawangin and Nagsasa coves, where you can camp overnight.

Mount Pinatubo

Mount Pinatubo made international news in 1991, when the volcano erupted, spewing miles into the air and sending flows of mud and ash roaring down the valleys. The eruption changed wide sections of the Zambales coastline and created a crater lake 1.5 miles across. You can access the peak via the tourist office in Santa Juliana, due east of Iba, where you can rent a 4 x 4 vehicle for a bumpy trip up the mountainside to reach the trailhead for a three-hour hike to the shore of the clear, blue-green lake.

Subic Bay

If your ideal vacation day is split between beach time and cocktail hour, the cities that ring Subic Bay — long home to a U.S. naval base — are set up to satisfy both sides of your personality. Manilan families flock here for the resorts, nature parks, and activities, and Olongapo is home to restaurants, shopping malls, and thriving night markets. But on the outer reaches of the bay, you can find quiet stretches of sand and underwater coral reefs to explore.
