Vacation rentals in Zagar

We liked the house a lot. The village is super quiet. Great hiking in the area. Jonas is a very good host, always connecting people. We had some issues in the house (fridge broke down) which were solved quickly. Jonas is owner of the Valea Verde resort in the same village, 5 minutes walk from the house. The resort has a natural swimming pool and a big field to relax. Very nice to have access to this in addition to the house. The bed was very comfortable. All in all we felt at home in Casa Johann and would stay there again when visiting Cund.

Izabella's place was amazing. Everything from cups and plates to linen was of highest quality. The house was very spacious, spotlesly clean and every room was filled with beautiful details. The garden was very cosy and they provided everything we needed for a bbq. Izabella was very friendly and responsive and her son was very helpful when we checked in, we felt very welcome. The village is very peaceful and beautiful. There's also a shop right around the corner. I only wish we could have stayed there longer! My favourite place we have stayed in while in Romania:)

this place - the donkey farm, Cund, and Christian the owner and host - went straight to my heart in a way I can't easily describe. We felt good, comfortable and very at home here.The house itself is stylish and homely, and its lovely having the donkeys nudge a hello each day. The surroundings are so special, flower filled meadows all round, the village friendly, and at the crossroad everything stops for the ducklingsto cross. We went for a great hike into the hills with the host Christian. He was a treasure trove of info on Romania. We love this place!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Corina’s place! The home was spotless, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Corina’s place to anyone visiting the area!

really nice house and peaceful village

Ten wonderful days in Cund! After thirty years back in Siebenbürgen. A lot of things have changed, but a lot is still the same. Nature, life like in past times. We enjoyed the garden, which is specially laid out for the guests, harvested johannis berries, herbs and tomatoes and cooked some of them. We saw a lot of church castles. It's a shame that hiking is hardly possible anymore because of the many shepherd dogs. We felt very comfortable in this beautiful house, restored with attention to detail, with real Transylvania village life, where the horse wagons drive in front of the window and the roosters crow and the dogs bark! The house is just like the pictures, but it took a little while to find it. Mr Hristea helped us find the location and was an exceptional host. We felt at home in a picturesque and quiet piece, where we spent the night between the years. I highly recommend this place to stay for those who want a few days of peace and relaxation. We'll be back!
