FredrikLars farm by Nordmarksbergs Herrgård

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 minutes away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Upper Hill. Fishing from the pier or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (150 SEK/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.
