Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the farmyard in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation was renovated to a modern standard in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-fashioned granny's house. Our farm is located in a quiet suburb of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. In our yard, there are rabbits, chickens, cats, and a dog. A trampoline, a go-kart and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill. In the summer of 2026, a yard sauna will be available.

Charming seaside cottage

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. The yard is sheltered, and there is grass for yard games, for example. From the cottage you can go directly to the rocks to admire the sea and from the rocks you can swim in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close by, where even children can swim. In addition, about a kilometer away there is a large, long and beautiful sandy beach. In summer and autumn, you will find wonderful hiking trails, great berry forests and sea buckthorn bushes on the beach. In winter, Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki have great ski trails.

The usable area of the apartment is approx. 30 m2. The apartment has a bathroom/toilet and also a sauna available on Saturdays. Equipment: Dishwasher, dishes, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, washing machine, stove/oven, microwave, TV, vacuum cleaner, and bedding for 4, no linen.

Small detached house by the river

For rent a small detached house in Rautio, Kalajoki! Accommodation includes linens and towels. Wood-fired sauna. The house is not new, but everything you need for a short stay can be found. Pets are welcome! NEW!🚲 It is possible to rent a Tunturi electric fatbike for the duration of your stay. A really nice holiday home in Kalajoki's Hiekkasärki. This unique and stylish apartment is located on a sandy beach by the sea. Marina Dyynikylä is located between the sea and a landscaped pond. The marina area will be built into a high-quality and maritime holiday and recreation center of the Hiekkasärkkien tourist center. This 2-story 88m2 vacation home was completed in the fall of 2023 and was commissioned in 052024.

From the cottage, it is about 3 km to the islet along the roads (shorter on foot) and about 10 km to Kalajoki. There are plenty of activities for both children and adults. There are hiking trails in the vicinity of the cottage and the golf course is right next door. The nearest beach is about 400m away.
