I had children with me, so I rented it in one building, and it was good to spend time without worrying about the downstairs or next door.I also enjoyed playing with the kids in the snow. The price is also cheaper than a hotel, so it is also easy for the wallet.

We had a great family time together in the cabin. There was enough space to do things together as well as areas for some quiet time. The cabin was clean and well equipped and the host provided us with useful information. We'd happily come back here anytime and recommend this Airbnb for people with children who like dinosaurs.

We had a fantastic stay here. The house is huge, with loads of space. Easy to warm up with multiple air conditioners. Beautiful quiet location with friendly neighbours and amazing views. Appreciated the big kitchen table and chairs. It’s a traditional Japanese house with lovely tatami mats and screens but with every modern feature you need. Close to dinosaur museum. Very happy with our stay.

Great and convenient location. Fukui station is just a stones throw away which made it easy to get around. Plenty of choices for food nearby as well.

Staying at Shirokiya felt like stepping into a traditional Japanese drama—peaceful, elegant, and beautifully immersive. The hinoki bath was pure relaxation, filling the air with its calming scent. The meal option was beyond exceptional, truly the pinnacle of food delivery, with every dish carefully prepared and presented. Just 10 minutes drive from the Dinosaur Museum, it’s also conveniently located with a chemist with supermarket within walking distance. A perfect blend of tradition and comfort—highly recommend for a unique and tranquil stay.

Two families visited as a place to stay while skiing at Jam Katsuyama, and Chiz was very polite and welcoming. It was a snowy day, so the children played in the snow from morning. There are also decorations at the entrance, and the traditional Japanese house is carefully used. On the other hand, the bath and water areas were renovated with the latest equipment, and the futons were very clean and comfortable. I think people from overseas will also be happy because they can experience traditional Japanese housing.
