Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ylä-Savo

Amazing place. We stayed for one night, but definitely worth staying longer. There are many activities to do right there on the island, and a couple National Parks within driving distance to hike or mountainbike. The house was very clean, had all the needed amenities and very well furnished. We particularly enjoyed that upstairs in the bedroom there is a window with a mosquito net, so that we could leave it open during the night and not get hot or have to deal with mosquitos. Has a sauna and the front door id right by a lake so can go for a swim whenever you want. Since we booked it last minute and didn't read the listing that thoroughly, I was very pleasantly suprised that breakfast is included! A very good deal! Overall it was a great stay and we are definitely staying here again if we are in the region.

Nice apartment in a good location. Matched the description well and had everything you needed.

The week went smoothly. Ski-in/ski-out nearby, with the slopes within easy reach. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. There were two rooms in the loft👍, this was not shown in the photos.

Tero's place matched the photos, nice decor, great view of the slopes, walkable to all activities and restaurants. Easy to check in and out, with good timings. We visited out of skiing season (early October) so it was deadly quiet in the area, very peaceful, but with that not a huge amount of open options. I'm sure in season it's a very lively place! Would well recommend this place for in-season for its location and out-of-season for its beauty and peacefulness. Only suggestions: Couple of furniture fixtures need correcting (tightening up) and could have an instruction manual to fire-place/sauna which may be useful for other tourists (I was with Finnish family so not a problem for us, but I could see some issues if English/European visitors were staying).

Close to the slopes. Very nice cottage. Definitely will be back. And the dog's backyard-a big plus!

The place was very nice for the four of us to celebrate Midsummer for the feud at the festival. The place was clean and matched the photos. A 20-minute walk to the party festival wasn't a bad trip. Markku was also very nice and provided clear instructions for check-in, as well as final cleaning. I recommend staying! ❣️

Clean apartment and perfect for 4. Near ski slopes

Affordable accommodation that matches the description well. Works well for two, for example, as a stop on the way north. The apartment was clean and everything went well overall.

The host responded well to messages and was flexible. We were allowed to park the car before the stay was handed over to us and would have been made available 3 hours before the official check-in time😊. The listing matched the description. There was noise from the neighbor in the early hours, and we had to go twice to ask them to turn the music down, but this isn't the host's fault in any way, it just happened with the restless neighbors on the wall. It was a bit of a long walk to the city center, but it wasn't bothered to take a taxi back and forth several times. The place was clean and well suited for a one-night stay! Thanks for letting us stay! 😊

Great location and comfortable cottage for a long weekend landing trip for 3 people! It was only 3 minutes to the slopes, and if necessary, the ski bus would have been able to get there. We found everything we needed in the cottage, and the place was also wonderfully peaceful.

The place is absolutely amazing and has earned more than 5 stars. We felt at home from the first second and it was really hard for us to leave. Timo is a great host and was available at any time. The lake house is tastefully and cozily furnished. The view, the landscape. Simply great! Even the journey to the house triggers peace and calm. The ski resort is a short 10-minute drive away. Pure recreation, winter sports and relaxation in one! We will definitely be back.

Very beautiful and functional cottage. Well-equipped. The beds were very good for sleeping. We really enjoyed the weekend in Tahko and the lovely cottage crowned the trip.

The lingonberry is in a great location by the lake. For three families, passel spaces. Plus a big kitchen! Everyone could fit breakfast, and there were plenty of dishes and other cooking utensils. We can highly recommend.
