Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Ylä-Savo

The stay was as described and the apartment was very cozy for our one-night stay

Tero's place matched the photos, nice decor, great view of the slopes, walkable to all activities and restaurants. Easy to check in and out, with good timings. We visited out of skiing season (early October) so it was deadly quiet in the area, very peaceful, but with that not a huge amount of open options. I'm sure in season it's a very lively place! Would well recommend this place for in-season for its location and out-of-season for its beauty and peacefulness. Only suggestions: Couple of furniture fixtures need correcting (tightening up) and could have an instruction manual to fire-place/sauna which may be useful for other tourists (I was with Finnish family so not a problem for us, but I could see some issues if English/European visitors were staying).

Clean and suitably sized space for a full 12 people. It was excellent that there was dish soap, toilet paper, and good cleaning supplies.

Wanha Koulu is a charming and cozy destination that lives up to the expectations set by its photos and descriptions. The atmosphere is inviting, and the sauna is a definite highlight – well-maintained and perfect for relaxation. The overall facilities were clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant stay. The kitchen is quite small, which might pose a challenge if you're planning to cook for a lot of food. Despite this, it’s a lovely spot with plenty of character, ideal for a peaceful getaway.

Nice one bed room unit in a ski lodge apartment complex within a few minutes walk of Tahko mountain ski lifts. Has all the necessary features for a comfortable ski weekend. We would definitely stay again. Thanks!
