Tony is the most generous host I’ve ever had across all the countries I’ve stayed in. Not only did he help us with directions, prepare BBQ, and arrange rafting trip, but I’m also incredibly grateful that he even handled our transportation issues while he was on a flight! The house is exceptionally beautiful and clearly well-managed with great care, the garden is absolutely stunning! This is the closest place to Bangkok where you can truly relax quickly. I highly recommend it… but at the same time, I almost don’t want to recommend it too much because I can’t wait to book it again for my next stay!

Bood’s place was exactly as advertised. A good spot a couple minutes walk from the beach. The place is spacious, AC works well. Has all the accommodations. The town itself is lowkey and quiet compared to other places around Thailand. The host was very communicative and helpful during our stay. Thank you!

This is the second time we've come to PapaHouse229. We even reorganized our stay in Thailand to be able to come back because we had very good memories! Again, we were hosted very well. 😊 Everything was perfect! The service offered is excellent: cold water was waiting for us in the refrigerator and the host, as if for the first time, provided us with something to snack on. This is the accommodation to book if you want to spend a few days at the Amphawa Floating Market: it is a very quiet market during the day and very lively at night. We were able to attend a concert by local popular singers. Very nice atmosphere! Thank you. 🙏🏽 We'll be back! For sure!

The place was perfect—just as described! It’s an ideal getaway for a quick family escape from Bangkok. The house is beautifully designed, and if you love traditional Thai architecture with stunning antique furniture, this is the perfect spot. The pool and garden were lovely, and it’s only about 10 minutes from Amphawa Floating Market. Highly recommended! The host was also very nice, with easy and smooth communication.

Really nice house with pool. Kitchen (really) fully equiped. Host was friendly in communication and supported us with finding drivers. If you are consider that You maybe need at least a scooter, the villa is perfect. We would recommend to stay there…..100%. Thank you….

It was a wonderful experience staying at your home. The beautiful river nature, the peaceful rice fields and the relaxing hammock made our stay special - even more your great hospitality, which went beyond anything we expected (pick up in the middle of the night from the train station, delicious breakfast and help with the washing). Nittaya speaks great English and is very attentive to guests. She organized two outings for us. One in Pak Thale where we saw a lot of birds. And another outing at Kaeng Krachen Park. We recommend this address and the visit of Phetchaburi, its temples and its kitchen full of flavor.

We had a lovely stay at Sathika's. Her father gave us really good tips of what to visit and when, and brought us to a food market at Mae Klong that I highly recommend for a visit! The place was very clean and very quiet, in a very pretty setting. Would definitely come stay here again!
